Patent number: 11899692Abstract: Aspects and features relate to computationally reducing the size or complexity of a database in order to improve the speed and efficiency with which such a database is processed by a computing system in order to identify investigators for clinical trials. In some aspects, a processing device performs operations including identifying data sources for geographically clustered data containing corresponding descriptors for database records. The operations further include formatting the corresponding descriptors to produce standardized, corresponding descriptors, and matching each standardized, corresponding descriptor to produce a record score for the descriptor. The record scores can be combined to produce an overall score for each database record and the database record can be selected and written to the data store based on the overall score.Type: GrantFiled: April 7, 2020Date of Patent: February 13, 2024Assignee: Laboratory Corporation of America HoldingsInventors: Stephen Michael Jones, Michelle Lsl Jones, Michael Brian Garcia, Elizabeth Martina Marshallsay, Rachael Haig

Patent number: 11804146Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and device embodiments for implementing a habit forming system. A habit forming service receives habit selection information from a habit forming application, determines a maturity measurement of a user based on a human behavior model, and determines a recommendation score of a behavior associated with the habit. Further, the habit forming service encodes the behavior onto a behavior taxonomy as a traversal path based on the maturity measurement, the recommendation score, and historic habit formation information, and identifies the behavior as a preferred behavior based on an attribute of the traversal path.Type: GrantFiled: September 13, 2019Date of Patent: October 31, 2023Assignee: Fresh Tri, Inc.Inventors: Kyra Bobinet, Brian Garcia, Nathaniel Hershey, Keenan Isaac Mersky Walch

Publication number: 20220343383Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method using a computer implemented application or a website for facilitating the creation and ordering of cannabis related products. The system can be used by customers for customizing their cannabis or marijuana farming choices via selection of seeds, strains, THC levels, and more. The system enables sellers to receive customized orders from the customers and the orders are processed and dispatched through delivery partners or clients. In one example, a customer selects functions and performs a purchase to enable the customer to purchase cannabis products. The client or seller receives the customer order and dispatches the order. A plurality of back-end users manage the system by monitoring sales, purchases, onboarding of customers and clients, and more.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 20, 2022Publication date: October 27, 2022Inventor: Brian Garcia Rivera

Patent number: 10490303Abstract: A system and method including: receiving medical data related to a patient; identifying two or more assessments to be performed by a case manager based on the medical data, each including a different set of questions to be answered by the patient, and each set of questions is directed to a different medical condition that the patient is at risk of having based on the medical data; prioritizing the two or more assessments based on the medical data and additional input from the case manager; displaying, in a user interface of a case manager terminal, a listing of questions from the highest priority assessment; receiving a response to a first question; reprioritizing the two or more assessments based on the response; and, displaying, in the user interface, a listing of unanswered questions from the set of questions included in the assessment having the highest priority based on the reprioritizing.Type: GrantFiled: October 12, 2015Date of Patent: November 26, 2019Assignee: Aetna Inc.Inventors: Aaron Sklar, Leonard Naar, Brian Garcia, Gregory B. Publication number: 20170208021Abstract: A message management system that sends customized messages to help a user achieve wellness objectives. The message management system is used in conjunction with a wellness system that allows users to participate in various wellness programs to improve the user's well-being. Until the user has completed the selected wellness program, the management system may send “nudge messages” to the user depending on the user's progress within the program or other factors. Generally, a nudge message comprises motivational content delivered to the user at a certain time to motivate the user to complete one or more tasks and progress towards the overall goal. Nudge messages are delivered to the user via one or more communication channels that are most likely to cause the message to reach a user and have a desired motivating effect. Effects of nudge messages are measured by the system and used to modify future nudge messages.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 15, 2016Publication date: July 20, 2017Inventors: Paul Ingram, Travis McElfresh, Brian Garcia

Patent number: 6558535Abstract: A water-tight fiberglass septic tank is strong enough to withstand live loads. The fiberglass septic tank is preferably designed with integral ribs to for structural strength. In one preferred embodiment, the tank is made in two unequal halves. The lower half comprises the major portion of the tank and includes a bottom, two endwalls and two sidewalls. The upper half comprises a cover. This arrangement allows the horizontal seam to be placed above the internal waterline, thereby protecting the seam from exposure to sewage. At least one of the endwalls includes a raised top portion that allows a pipe to be located near the top of the lower portion without passing through the seam between the upper and lower portions of the tank. The endwalls are also curved to allow for angled inlet and outlet pipe connections. The ribs are preferably internal and hollow. The lower portion of the tank is also preferably flat bottomed. A provision has been made for a self-locating baffle if required.Type: GrantFiled: March 23, 2001Date of Patent: May 6, 2003Assignee: Xerxes CorporationInventors: Robin Berg, Kaushik Mallick, Brian Garcia, Michael Zais

Patent number: 6443084Abstract: A telescoping and rolling cover assembly for a barge includes a plurality of cover sections that travel along a track or tracks provided on the barge coaming. The cover sections may be provided with anti-derailment clamps that engage a vertical lip of the barge coaming to prevent the covers from being pulled off the track. The clamps may further be provided with wind latch extensions that secure the cover sections when in a stacked position. The cover sections may be provided with a stacking shelf that provides a surface on which an overlying stacked cover may rest. The cover sections may travel along one or more tracks provided on the sides of the barge coaming. A portion of some cover sections may travel along tracks attached to underlying cover sections. The cover assembly may be made of fiber reinforced plastic.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 2002Date of Patent: September 3, 2002Inventors: Robin L.
