  • Publication number: 20050240122
Abstract: A device for applying a tactile stimulus, comprising a finger sleeve with one or more raised elements on its outer surface, wherein there is at least one raised element or part thereof in that region of the sleeve defined by the first 15% of its overall length measured from its distal end, and wherein the raised element(s) are arranged in a loop surrounding a blank region of the sleeve which carries no raised elements. The raised element(s) may define a fluid retaining region on the sleeve surface. A region of the sleeve may have a greater flexibility than that of the rest of the sleeve, so as to provide variability in circumference. The device is of particular use in the treatment of female orgasmic disorders and may be used to apply a fluid substance as well as a tactile stimulus.

  • Patent number: 4887330
Abstract: An attachment for the intake hose of a suction cleaner for dispensing liquid to the surface to be suctioned, near the intake to the suction nozzle. A liquid supply tank is supported near the suction nozzle. A valve dispenses the liquid. In one embodiment, a surface engaging brush or roller communicates with the valve. When the surface engaging element engages the surface, it opens the valve to dispense liquid from the tank to a liquid dispensing bar. A second embodiment uses a float valve which normally closes the communication between the inlet to the valve and the outlet from the valve to the dispenser bar. An additional conduit communicates with the nozzle to supply suction to the float valve, and when the suction inlet to the suction nozzle is partially obstructed, e.g. against the surface being suctioned, this increases the vacuum above the suction nozzle. The suction communicates through the additional conduit to the float valve to open the communication from the valve inlet to the dispenser bar.

  • Patent number: 3984135
Abstract: A locking and dead bolt locking device associated with the upper rail or frame portion of a window or door sash slideable in a fixed frame, having a latching arrangement engaging a horizontal rail portion and a dead bolt arrangement engaging the frame and mounted on an upper portion of the sash. The latching arrangement includes a tongue latch portion operable normal to the plane of the window and with the dead bolt being integrally carried thereby. When closed, the tongue portion of the latch engages a striker plate of said rail while the deadbolt is engaged with the frame to prevent opening of said latch. Simultaneously, the sash is secured with respect to the frame thereby providing a dual means for securing the sash in a close position in said frame.
