  • Publication number: 20100180691
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a sensor-enabled geosynthetic material for use in geosynthetic structures, a method of making the sensor-enabled geosynthetic material, and a method of measuring geometric strains of a geosynthetic product made from the sensor-enabled geosynthetic material. The sensor-enabled geosynthetic material includes a polymeric material and an electrically conductive filler. The polymeric material and an electrically conductive filler are combined to provide a sensor-enabled geosynthetic material. The sensor-enabled geosynthetic material having a predetermined concentration of the electrically conductive filler so as to provide the sensor-enabled geosynthetic material with an electrical conductivity and a strain sensitivity within the percolation region or slightly above it.

  • Publication number: 20080187116
Abstract: A system associated with a utility network having product distribution pathways, including a device management module for automatically provisioning at least a subset of a plurality of electronic utility devices associated with the pathways based on configuration state information received from the subset of the plurality of electronic utility devices and a comparison of the received configuration state information and predefined configuration state information.

  • Publication number: 20080082395
Abstract: A method and system are disclosed that provide a forum for shopping between customers and merchants within a host website connected on a computer network. Merchants and customers are registered within the host website, and the products of registered merchants are loaded onto the host website. Registered customers shop exclusively on the host website such that the shopping is configured to be based on the loaded products of registered merchants.

  • Publication number: 20060182034
Abstract: The present invention uses proxy points for measuring different routes to a destination address space. Multiple paths to the desired destination address space are identified. Each path begins at a source and terminates at the destination address space. Proxy points are identified for each path and are associated with a point between the source and the destination address space. Measurements of the path performance from each source to the appropriate proxy point are compared to determine an optimum route.

  • Patent number: 6799763
Abstract: The present invention relates to a modified chess game for two players comprising a chessboard having a central section having a first side and a second side, said central section containing squares arranged in vertical rows and horizontal rows, and a first field section located along the first side of said central section and a second field section located along the second side of said central section, wherein each of said first and second field sections contain squares arranged in vertical rows and horizontal rows; preferably at least twenty playing pieces for each player consisting of ten pawns, one king, one queen, two rooks, two bishops, two knights and at least two additional pieces. In a preferred embodiment the two additional pieces are identical and can move a maximum of three squares in any direction. The additional pieces are preferably adapted to represent dragons.
