  • Publication number: 20240194357
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for remote patient monitoring. The system comprises at least one medical device, a patient remote device, a remote monitoring server device (RMS), and a health care professional (HCP) remote device. The at least one medical device is configured to automatically collect physiological data of a patient and transmit the collected physiological data of the patient to the RMS via the patient remote device. The RMS is configured to interface with the HCP remote device via a healthcare professional interface comprising a web-based portal and/or an app-based portal to allow a health care professional to access the collected physiological data of the patient on the RMS. In this way, it is possible to provide continuous remote monitoring of physiological data from a medical implant with no patient interaction required. The monitoring data is available to physicians via web-based and/or app-based user portal on-demand. The RMS may provide frequent (e.g.

  • Publication number: 20090079778
Abstract: A multi swath printing method for printing an image on an ink jet printing system is used to reduce image banding. The ink jet printing system includes a printhead with one or more ink ejection nozzles. The method entails forming a set of individual print masks. Each individual print mask has one or more groupings of two dimensional patterns of different frequencies and is assigned to a color of the ink jet printing system. The method ends by inputting the set of individual print masks formed into the ink jet printing system to form an input mask set and printing images using the input mask set to create an out-of-phase composite of the image printed. Banding is substantially reduced in the printed image and the printed image comprises a resolution between 300 dpi and 4800 dpi.

  • Publication number: 20070199045
Abstract: A method for preventing time of check to time of use exploits includes receiving a system call from a user space at a system call intercept and copying user space parameters from the user space to a kernel space responsive to the system call. The method also includes copying the user space parameters from the kernel space to a secure location in the user space, receiving the user space parameters from the secure location at the system call intercept, and executing the system call based on the received user space parameters. A computer readable medium including computer readable code and a system for executing the method steps are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20060229787
Abstract: A method of controlling an electro-hydraulic system is provided. The method includes receiving an input corresponding to an operator commanded adjustment of the system, and determining an output at a time increment to adjust the electro-hydraulic system based at least in part on the input, at least one output at a previous time increment and at least one predetermined damping constant. A work machine and method of preparing an electro-hydraulic system of a work machine for operation are also provided. The work machine includes an electro-hydraulic system with at least one movable control member, a manual input device and an electronic controller. The electronic controller includes a control algorithm for generating an output to adjust the position of the at least one movable control member.

  • Patent number: 6343309
Abstract: A method and apparatus for processing hierarchical graphics data from an application. The data processing system includes a plurality of threads in which a first thread receives graphics data from the application. The data stream is partitioned into workgroups and a sequence number is associated with each workgroup identifying the order in which the workgroup should be processed. Each thread processes a unique portion of the workgroups. Processed workgroups are stored in a memory associated with the thread processing that workgroup. The primary thread dispatches the processed workgroups from each of the memories associated with the threads to a rasterizer for the graphics display device. The workgroups are dispatched in an order indicated by the sequence number associated with each processed workgroup.
