  • Publication number: 20240126038
Abstract: A panel system includes a chassis holding one or more tray arrangements, which are each configured to receive one or more cassettes at two or more bays. The tray arrangements and cassettes cooperate to define a cassette sensor arrangement and a port occupancy sensor arrangement having separate interface points. The cassette sensor arrangement may include electronic memory storing physical layer information about the cassette. All active components of the port occupancy sensor arrangement are disposed on the tray while the electronic memories of the cassette sensor arrangement are stored on the cassettes.

  • Publication number: 20240094632
Abstract: Precursor solutions for radiation patternable coatings are formed with an organic solvent and monoalkyl tin trialkoxides in which the water content of the solvent is adjusted to be within 10 percent of a selected value. Generally, the water content of the solvent is adjusted through water addition, although water removal can also be used. In some embodiments, the adjusted water content of the solvent can be from about 250 ppm by weight to about 10,000 ppm by weight. With the appropriate selection of ligands, the adjusted precursor solutions can be stable for at least about 42 days, and in some cases at least 8 months.

  • Publication number: 20220256763
Abstract: A system for controlling the operation of a row cleaning device of a seed-planting implement may include a row cleaning device configured to adjust a surface cleanliness of a portion of a field, at least one row sensor, and a controller. The at least one row sensor may generate data indicative of a first surface cleanliness parameter within a worked area of the field positioned aft of the row cleaning device and a second surface cleanliness parameter within an unworked area of the field, the unworked area being outside of the worked area. The controller may be configured to receive the data indicative of the first and second surface cleanliness parameters from the at least one row sensor, and to determine an efficiency of the row cleaning device based at least in part on the first and second surface cleanliness parameters.

  • Patent number: 11382266
Abstract: In one aspect, a system for monitoring the performance of ground engaging components of an agricultural implement may include a ground engaging component configured to rotate relative to soil within a field as the agricultural implement is moved across the field. The system may also include a sensor configured to detect a parameter indicative of a rotational speed of the ground engaging component. Furthermore, the system may include a controller communicatively coupled to the sensor. The controller may be configured to monitor the rotational speed of the ground engaging component based on measurement signals received from the sensor and compare the monitored rotational speed to a baseline rotational speed value. Additionally, the controller may be configured to initiate a control action when it is determined that the monitored rotational speed has crossed the baseline rotational speed value a threshold number of times during a given time interval.

  • Publication number: 20200337207
Abstract: A system for controlling downforce on a multi-wing agricultural implement has a first frame section and a second frame section pivotably coupled to the first frame section and configured to support a plurality of row units. An actuator of the implement actuates the second frame section relative to the first frame section to maintain downforce on the row units. Specifically, the actuator defines first and second fluid chambers, where a first control valve is configured to regulate a supply of fluid to the first fluid chamber and a second control valve is configured to regulate a supply of fluid to the second fluid chamber. A controller controls at least one of the first or second control valves to maintain a pressure differential between the fluid supplied to the first and second chambers within a target threshold range.
