Publication number: 20210214156Abstract: An attachment includes an implement and a plate coupled to the implement. The plate has a top end, a bottom end, and an attachment interface. The attachment interface includes (i) a hook extending from the top end of the plate and (ii) an aperture positioned proximate the bottom end of the plate. The hook is positioned to selectively engage a hook interface on the vehicle. The aperture is positioned to selectively receive a rotating locking arm on the vehicle to facilitate selectively coupling the plate and, thereby, the implement to the vehicle.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 31, 2021Publication date: July 15, 2021Applicant: Oshkosh CorporationInventors: Brian J. Haddick, Jarud H. Hoefker, Leslie H. Schwartz

Patent number: 10513392Abstract: An attachment system for a vehicle includes a plate and a coupling device coupled to the plate. The coupling device includes a movable portion that is selectively repositionable in a direction along a face of the plate between a first position and a second position. The movable portion is configured to engage an interface of an attachment when selectively positioned into the first position and disengage the interface of the attachment when selectively positioned into the second position.Type: GrantFiled: May 16, 2019Date of Patent: December 24, 2019Assignee: Oshkosh CorporationInventors: Brian J. Haddick, Jarud H. Hoefker, Leslie H. Schwartz

Patent number: 10351340Abstract: An attachment system for a vehicle includes a lateral member, a plate coupled to the lateral member, and a coupler. The coupler includes a first support coupled to the plate, a second support spaced from the first support, a resilient member disposed between the first support and the second support, and an adjuster configured to facilitate selectively reorienting the second support relative to the first support in a direction along a face of the plate between a first position and a second position. The second support is configured to engage an interface of an attachment when selectively reoriented into the first position and disengage the interface of the attachment when selectively reoriented into the second position.Type: GrantFiled: July 27, 2018Date of Patent: July 16, 2019Assignee: Oshkosh CorporationInventors: Brian J. Patent number: 5379733Abstract: The pull-in coil of a fuel shut-off solenoid on an engine is connected to a relay which in turn is connected to the engine starting circuit. The relay is connected through the oil pressure light switch which opens after a short period of time as the result of a change in oil pressure as the engine is being cranked. Solenoid overheating is avoided since the relay pull-in coil current is cut off as soon as the oil pressure rises.Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 1993Date of Patent: January 10, 1995Assignee: Deere & CompanyInventors: Brian J. Haddick, Rudolph A. Peterson, Jr.
