  • Patent number: 7194413
Abstract: A method of providing localized information from a single global transformation source, comprises collecting a plurality of information on a plurality of subjects, and conveying this information to a single information server located at the single global transformation source. Segregating the collected information into a plurality of sub-topics so that related information from a plurality of sources will be present in a single sub-topic. Transforming the information of each sub-topic into a single common language including conversion of words, exp-ressions, technical and financial data. Identifying each sub-topic by a topic identifier so that a localized user on the globe can identify the sub-topic germane to the needs and interest of the localized user. Transmitting the information of a sub-topic from the single information server to a local user who requests the same.

  • Patent number: 6941208
Abstract: A method of monitoring equipment of an agricultural machine includes taking a process computer and connecting the same to at least one sensor measuring an operational characteristic of the agricultural machine. The process computer evaluates the data received from the sensor and checks whether they indicate a fault of the agricultural machine. In this case, the data may be below and/or above a predetermined threshold. When such as fault or error occurs, the process computer submits a fault message to a remote station using a communications interface. The fault message contains a fault information identifying a type of the fault.

  • Patent number: 4650530
Abstract: Apparatus for folding, bonding and severing a longitudinally extending web, comprising a rotatable disc having a plurality of circumferentially spaced-apart, radially extending protrusions at its periphery, means for rotating the disc, means for feeding the longitudinally extending web onto the disc during rotation thereof, so that outer extremities of the protrusions contact the web at its medial region to cause folding of the web so that its sides overlap one another between the protrusions, means for bonding the folded web at its overlapping sides between adjacent protrusions during rotation of the disc, and means for severing the folded web at its overlapping sides between adjacent protrusions during rotation of the disc. Also disclosed is a corresponding method wherein the longitudinally extending web is folded, bonded and severed.
