  • Publication number: 20230316439
Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention is directed to extending the use of NFTs to digital deeds to validate and/or verify ownership of real estate. An embodiment of the present invention seeks to streamline validation for low risk transactions, e.g., refinancing when the same financial institution is involved. Accordingly, an embodiment of the present invention seeks to avoid a complex and burdensome title search and further eliminate a need for title insurance. As a result, there is less of a barrier to home ownership.

  • Publication number: 20200193522
Abstract: A system to provide an automated risk analysis tool via a back-end application computer server of an enterprise may include an existing risk relationship data store containing electronic records that represent a plurality of existing risk relationships between the enterprise and a plurality of users (e.g., an electronic record identifier and a set of historic resource values associated with risk attributes). The system may receive an indication of a selected risk relationship between the enterprise and a selected entity and retrieve the electronic record associated with the selected risk relationship. The system can then receive an indication of a user selected revenue base for a most recent evaluation time period along with a user selectable normalization parameter. Historic resource values may be normalized based on the received user selectable normalization parameter and then be output to support an interactive display including entity risk information.

  • Patent number: 6952436
Abstract: A method for preparing transparent mesostructured inorganic/block-copolymer composites or inorganic porous solids containing optically responsive species with selective optical, optoelectronic, and sensing properties resulting therefrom. Mesoscopically organized inorganic/block copolymer composites doped with dyes or complexes are prepared for use as optical hosts, chemical/physical/biological sensors, photochromic materials, optical waveguides, tunable solid-state lasers, or optoelectronic devices. The materials can be processed into a variety of different shapes, such as films, fibers, monoliths, for novel optical and sensing applications.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 14, 2001
Date of Patent: October 4, 2005
Assignee: Regents of the University of California
Inventors: Gernot Wirnsberger, Brian J. Scott, Howard C. Huang, Nicholas A. Melosh, Peidong Yang, Bradley F. Chmelka, Galen D. Stucky

  • Patent number: 4672216
Abstract: A power station boiler condensate water monitor employs a light-scatter cell for the detection of oil and/or particulates in the water. In order to determine background scatter levels, provision is made to alternatively pass clean water through the cell (FLUSH). The offset voltages obtained from the detector outputs when clean water is employed are compensated for differences in temperature between the boiler condensate water and the clean water before substraction from the detector outputs when boiler condensate water is employed. The monitor is capable of detecting oil levels of less than 2 parts per million.

  • Patent number: 4136307
Abstract: A process controller for diameter control in drawing optical fibre preforms consists essentially of the parallel arrangement of two output amplifiers, one providing low gain at low .+-. input voltages, while the other has high gain at high .+-. input voltages and effectively zero gain at low .+-. input voltages.
