The probe has a flexible conductor for delivering electrosurgical energy during an electrosurgical procedure, and is adapted for connection to an electrosurgical generator. The probe also has a flexible electrical insulation substantially surrounding the conductor. The probe also has a flexible conductive shield substantially enclosing the electrical insulation, the flexible conductive shield electrically connected to a reference potential, whereby any current which flows in the flexible conductive shield from the conductor is conducted to the reference potential. The flexible conductive shield is formed from a conductive wire.

    Abstract: A multi layered frangible seal is bonded over the pour spout opening of flexible plastic bottles containing pourable products such as motor oil. The seal provides a leak proof closure that is strong enough to remain intact when the filled uncapped container is held in an inverted position, and at the same weak enough to break open and dispense the contents into a fill opening when a consumer squeezes the inverted container. The seal is constructed from a first layer of leak proof frangible sheet material that is bonded to a second layer of strengthening sheet material. The strengthening layer contains a cut out void configuration that forms a breaking pattern which forces the seal to break open only in the weaker single frangible layered configuration of the cut out void forming the breaking pattern when the container is squeezed.

    Abstract: A multi layered leak proof tamper evident container closure seal with an integral pull opener is constructed from a first layer of leak proof frangible sheet material that is adhesively bonded to a second layer of strengthening sheet material. The strengthening layer contains a varied C shaped cut out void configuration that forms a breaking pattern that turns the strengthening layer into a break and tear template layer. The adhesive layer bonding the frangible layer to the template includes an area void of the adhesive that duplicates the cut out void configuration of the breaking pattern. The seal is also bonded to the container rim without any adhesive being present in the area of the cut out void configuration of the breaking pattern thereby leaving only the single frangible layer covering over the C shaped cut out void configuration forming the breaking pattern which creates a weakness in the multi layered seal only in the area of the C shaped breaking pattern.

    Abstract: An improved multi layered frangible seal is bonded over the pour spout opening of flexible plastic bottle containers of the type used for storing and dispensing pourable products such as motor oil or transmission fluid and the like. The seal provides a leak proof closure that is only strong enough to remain intact when subjected to the pressure created by the weight of the liquid contents when the filled uncapped container is held in an inverted position. At the same time the seal is also weak enough to break open and dispense the contents when a set amount of additional pressure is brought to bear against the seal by a consumer squeezing the inverted container. The seal allows the pour spout of the inverted container to be inserted into the fill opening while remaining intact which prevents any spilling of the contents. The seal is then broken open by the consumer squeezing the flexible bottle which dispenses the contents into the fill opening thereby eliminating the need for a fill funnel.

    Abstract: An improved multi layered frangible seal is bonded over the interior opening of the dispensing nozzle of a cartridge container of the type used in combination with an application gun providing a leak proof closure that automatically breaks open in a defined configuration when sufficient internal cartridge pressure is brought to bear against the seal. The seal invention is constructed of a first layer of leak proof frangible material that is bonded to an additional layer of material. The additional layer of material contains one or more cut through and/or cut out void configurations that forms a breaking pattern that turns the additional layer into a break and tear template layer. Bonding the template layer to the frangible layer strengthens the surface area of the frangible layer every where except in the area of the breaking pattern by leaving only the frangible layer covering over the cut through and/or cut out void configuration of the template layer.
