  • Publication number: 20160326701
Abstract: A rotary mixer utilizes position control technology to determine the position of the rotary mixer on a work surface and a controller determines whether an intended path across a work surface will overlap with a previously pulverized, mixed and modified surface. The rotary mixer utilizes at least one fluid spray bar in the rotor chamber or mixing chamber that extends along the width of the rotor. The fluid spray bar includes a plurality of nozzles spaced apart along the fluid spray bar that may he individually controlled by a nozzle actuator. In the event such an overlap is occurring or will occur, to avoid the application of excess fluid to the already modified surface, the controller directs the nozzle actuator to either reduce or shut off flow through the nozzles that are in alignment with the already modified surface.

  • Publication number: 20160305082
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed. The system may comprise a first stabilization machine and one or more other machines or supply trucks. The system may also include one or more site controllers. The first stabilization machine may include a first stabilization controller. The first stabilization controller may be configured to receive location data and metering information, and to determine and transmit one or more of the following to the appropriate other machine(s), supply truck(s) or site controller(s): resupply time, location/boundaries of the worked surface area, the quantity of passes over the worked surface area, the mixing depth and the moisture content. The other machine(s), supply truck(s) or site controller(s) may each be in communication with user interface(s) on which the transmitted information may be displayed.

  • Publication number: 20160237637
Abstract: Soil stabilization systems and methods for stabilization of a ground surface are disclosed. The systems and methods may include a stabilization machine having a mixing chamber, a dry additive deliver system for delivering dry additive from a dry additive storage truck and a water delivery system for delivering water from a water storage truck. The systems and methods may further include the delivery of dry additive and water directly to the mixing chamber of a stabilization machine.

  • Publication number: 20150020110
Abstract: An apparatus and method for enabling a viewer to watch television in the usual manner, while providing the viewer with an opportunity to indicate interest in products contextually associated with, but not necessarily displayed, in the television programs viewed, are described. Viewer interest might be indicated, for example, by launching a widget from an icon located on the TV video receiver using a handheld remote controller in communication with a set-top box during the program. The program being viewed may then be identified, for example, by the selected channel, the name of the program, the episode, and the time of the selection, or a combination of these indicators. The selections are transmitted by the set-top box to a remote search server, which returns information to the viewer on a portion of the TV video receiver concerning available products contextually related to the program being viewed at the time the widget was launched by the viewer, as well as purchase information.

  • Patent number: 7878139
Abstract: A flagpole comprising a clip portion, where the clip portion is shaped such that it fits over the top of an automobile window and allows the flagpole to be held in place by the window and an associated window frame when the window is nearly in a rolled up position; a u-shaped portion extending generally downward from the clip portion, away from the clip portion, and then upward, such that the u-shaped portion extends around a vent visor or rain guard associated with the window, where the vent visor or rain guard need not be in use on the window when the flagpole is in use; a straight portion extending upward from the u-shaped portion; and a flag situated on the straight portion. The flagpole may also be adjustable such that it may be used on a trunk deck.

  • Patent number: 7594478
Abstract: A truck bed stake hole assembly comprising a shaft with a threaded end; a bottom plate shaped like a rectangle with a corner missing and with a threaded hole in which the threaded end is receivable; and a top plate with a downward extending post that aligns with the missing corner of the bottom plate and with a hole slightly larger than the threaded end. To use, the shaft is placed through the hole in the top plate and threaded into the hole in the bottom plate; the bottom plate is inserted into a truck bed stake hole; the top plate rests atop the stake hole; and the bottom plate is rotated to wedge within the stake hole. To remove, the bottom plate is rotated counterclockwise until the post in the top plate acts as a stop and prevents rotation, and the assembly is then removed from the stake hole.
