  • Publication number: 20260133935
Abstract: Example implementations relate to methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media for using file system filters to back up files before deletes. A cloud provider application tags a file within a local file system of a device with a tag for synchronization with a cloud file system. A filter of the local file system detects a command to delete the tagged file based on a presence of the tag. The file system blocks the command on the tagged file in response to detection by the filter and provides a notification of the command to the cloud provider application. The cloud provider application can back up the file to a cloud file system before the delete command is completed. The file system receives, in response to the notification, an approval to unblock the delete command and performs the command to delete the tagged file in the local file system.

  • Patent number: 12311586
Abstract: Apparatus 2 for dosing a liquid colour formulation into polymer includes a weighing platform 4 which is supported on a pair of load cells 6 which are, in turn, supported on a base 8. A reservoir 12 contains liquid colour formulation 14. A pump 16 is arranged to pump liquid formulation, via a tube 20, to an extruder or injection moulding machine. Above inlet 24 is a delivery pack 26 which includes a bag-in-a-box arrangement 28. The delivery pack 26 includes a transfer pump 36 associated with an outlet of the receptacle 32. A transfer pump motor 38 is arranged to be engaged with the transfer pump 36 and operated so that liquid formulation can be pumped from the receptacle 32 into reservoir 12 across an air gap 13 defined between the transfer pump 36 and the inlet 24 of reservoir 12. There is no pipe, tube or other conduit through which liquid formulation passes on travel between delivery pack 26 and reservoir 12.

  • Patent number: 12108893
Abstract: The remote-controlled collapsible valet stand may assist a user in wearing an article of clothing without needing to reach behind themselves to grasp the clothing. The device may comprise a linear actuator mounted to a base and raising a plurality of arms to dress the user. The device may be remote controlled, and the user of the device may place an article of clothing onto the arms and then control the height of the actuator to have the clothing lifted onto their person for easy wearing. The remote-controlled collapsible valet stand may further comprise a plurality of clips allowing the clothing to be quickly disconnected once the user is wearing it, and height adjustability so that users of varying heights may be able to use the device. In one embodiment the device may comprise a plurality of cowlings, near field communication, audible and visual alerts, proximity sensors, and various attachments considered related in the art.

  • Patent number: 11636254
Abstract: A system for provenance aware editing for propagating edits back to spreadsheets is provided. The system receives an indication of an operation to be performed at an output location. The operation indicates one or more input locations on a spreadsheet that each provides an input value. The input values are accessed and tagged with their corresponding input location on the spreadsheet. Based on the operation and the input value from each of the one or more input locations, the system derives and displays the result at the output location. A user edit to the result is received at the output location, which causes transmission of a propagation request to change the input value at one or more of the tagged input locations. Using where-provenance associated with the tagged input locations, the system propagates the user edit to one or more of the tagged input locations.

  • Patent number: 11618972
Abstract: Injector (14) for injecting a liquid formulation into a molten polymer includes outlet (21) at one end and, at its other end, is arranged to be connected to upstream conduit (25) via a coupling housing (26) so that liquid formulation can pass from conduit into the injector, and further includes an elongate conduit (27) in which an elongate pin is slideably arranged being capable of expelling all liquid formulation from conduit. To address the risk the outlet could become blocked in use, whilst avoiding the need to depressurize and/or stop the flow or polymer in extruder (19), the injection apparatus includes a spool (34) which is rotatably mounted within wall (35) of the extruder and is arranged to be rotated about an axis which extends substantially perpendicularly to the elongate extent of the extruder through which a polymer stream (18) flows.
