Abstract: A vaporizer for delivery of a volatile medium to a gas flow, the vaporizer comprising: a gas delivery unit (3) which receives a flow of gas and provides a flow of gas containing a metered amount of a vaporized medium; a reservoir unit (5) which contains a volatile medium and maintains a supply of the vaporized medium, wherein the reservoir unit is selectively fluidly connected to the gas delivery unit; a gas sensing unit (7) for sensing a flow rate and/or composition of the gas flow; a vaporized medium sensing unit (9) for sensing a flow rate of the vaporized medium; a manifold (10) which includes flow paths for the vaporized medium and fluidly connects the reservoir unit and the vaporized medium sensing unit; and a control unit (11) for controlling a flow rate of the gas flow and an amount of the vaporized medium which is metered into the gas flow.

Abstract: Systems and methods for access control management designed for multi-unit buildings are provided. The disclosed systems can use mobile devices, a local mesh network, access control devices, and wireless communication to facilitate multi-unit real estate management. Mobile devices can download and use credentials to access appropriate areas and units in a building through local wireless communications with access control devices.

Abstract: A collaboration database service allows end users to create and collaborate on custom databases as any other type of productivity content (presentations, word processing documents, spreadsheets, etc.). Providing a more data centric experience rather than formatting centric may allow for a malleable experience. The custom entities the user defines may indicate how to best display the data on various devices, what rules should be enforced, and what actions need to be taken on behalf of the user. A collaboration database service according to embodiments may not only provide easy creation and sharing of various databases across devices, but also integrate and interoperate with various productivity application workloads. Each productivity application may play a unique role, and those individual strengths may be highlighted in an example service to bring the system together.

Abstract: Disclosed systems and methods relate to a smart access control reader for an access control system. According to embodiments, a method can include installing the smart access control reader to the access control system by connecting the smart access control reader to the access control system via wiring of the access control system. The method can also include receiving, by the smart access control reader, one or more first credentials for authenticating one or more users by the access control system. The method can further include determining, by the smart access control reader, that the one or more first credentials are authorized. Moreover, the method can include transmitting, by the smart access control reader, a second credential to an access control panel of the access control system, in response to a request by a first user to access an area monitored by the access control system.

The backpack has an internal bag frame to support the sports equipment. The backpack also has a sports-ball-securing segment and an insulated pouch for food and beverages. The foldable seat is secured to the bag frame to provide a seat that can fold out for the participant or spectator to sit upon. The roller segment automatically engages such that the bag can be tipped and rolled by the participant or spectator when the foldable seat is stored. When the foldable seat is deployed, the roller segment automatically disengages to provide a stable platform for the seat.

The system is configured to transmit a data sensing packet to a wearable device comprising software code configured to cause the wearable device to process actions of the user that are sensed by the wearable device; receive a selected transaction from the user that the user wishes to be performed based on the wearable device sensing a predefined action; associate the selected transaction with a response token to be communicated to the system when the wearable device senses the predefined action; transmit the response to the wearable device; receive the response token indicating that the predefined action was sensed by the wearable device; and perform the selected transaction.

Abstract: A reservoir assembly (40) comprises a container (4), a support assembly (42) on which the container (4) is mounted and fixed and a rotary electric vibrator device (44) coupled to the support assembly (42). The container holds a shear thinning additive for a plastics material. The reservoir assembly is arranged so that on operation of the device (44), an appropriate frequency and amplitude of vibration is applied to the container (4) and, therefore, its contents. As a result, a liquid dispersion in the container is shear thinned and recovery of dispersion from the container is increased.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for protecting regions of an electronic document are provided. According to the method, the entire electronic document is protected. The selection of a region within the electronic document is received along with identity of one or more users authorized to freely edit the selected region. The identified users are authorized to freely edit only the selected region of the electronic document. A request is then received to edit a region of the electronic document from a current user. In response to the request, a determination is made as to whether the current user is authorized to edit the region. If the user is not authorized to edit the region, the request is denied.
