    Abstract: A subroutine for modulating the voltage applied to power an anti-lock brake system pump motor when the vehicle speed is below a predetermined speed threshold. The voltage also is modulated when the vehicle deceleration is less than a predetermined deceleration threshold. The modulated voltage can have a constant duty cycle with a variable frequency or a constant frequency with a variable duty cycle.
