  • Patent number: 10810225
Abstract: A system and method for processing source data, which includes a translation processor configured on a server to translate a stream of source data received at the server into a stream of formatted data types based on one or more of parameter definitions for the source data and new parameter information for the source data having an unknown data type. The source data can be received at the server from multiple sources and the data format may not be consistent from one source to another. An analytics processor on the server can be configured to operate on the out-of-tolerance data type to perform one or more of trend data analytics, associated data analytics and preventative action analytics.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: October 20, 2020
    Assignee: THE BOEING COMPANY
Inventors: Christopher M. Mutschler, Brian K. Predmore, Susan C. Jacintho, Nitin L. Gandhi
  • Patent number: 10699499
Abstract: A method includes obtaining data associated with operation of an aircraft and determining a first operational phase of the aircraft based on the data. The method includes identifying a candidate operational phase transition from the first operational phase to a candidate operational phase based on a first portion of the data satisfying a first condition associated with the candidate operational phase, the first portion of the data corresponding to a first time. The method includes evaluating a second portion of the data based on a second condition associated with the candidate operational phase, the second portion of the data corresponding to a second time that is subsequent to the first time. The method further includes, based on the second condition being satisfied, generating an operational phase transition indication that indicates an occurrence of an operational phase transition to the candidate operational phase at the first time.

Abstract: A method includes obtaining data associated with operation of a vehicle and determining a first operational phase of the vehicle based on the data. The method includes identifying a candidate operational phase transition from the first operational phase to a candidate operational phase based on a first portion of the data satisfying a first condition associated with the candidate operational phase, the first portion of the data associated with a first time. The method further includes, based on the second condition being satisfied, generating an operational phase transition indication associated with the first time and that indicates an operational phase transition to the candidate operational phase.

  • Patent number: 8644171
Abstract: A method and computer program product are provided for compressing and, in turn, for estimating the frame structure of time-multiplexed data. The time-multiplexed data may be received without an indication of the frame structure for the time-multiplexed data. As such, the frame structure of the time-multiplexed data may be estimated and the time-multiplexed data may be compressed at least partially in accordance with the estimation of the frame structure. The frame structure may be estimated by representing an estimation of frame structure with a tree structure. The tree structure may include a plurality of leaf nodes associated with a respective estimated signal sequence with a respective sampling rate and interleave location. The tree structure may include a plurality of tree branches with the estimation of the frame structure including at least one of splitting or merging tree branches.
