  • Patent number: 9340337
Abstract: A lockable pushbutton includes a locking mechanism configurable to provide a pushbutton locked position and a pushbutton unlocked position. When the locking mechanism is positioned in the locked orientation, the locking mechanism prevents actuation of the pushbutton. When the locking mechanism body is positioned in the unlocked orientation the locking mechanism permits actuation of the pushbutton.

  • Patent number: 8851331
Abstract: A fluid dispenser includes an adjustable dosing mechanism that permits adjustment of the amount of fluid to be dispensed. An adjustable dosing mechanism may be inserted into the dispenser in either a high dose orientation or a low dose orientation. The body further includes pair of dose adjusting flanges. When the adjustable dosing mechanism body is received into the dispenser in the high dose orientation, a relatively larger quantity of fluid product is dispensed. When the adjustable dosing mechanism body is received into the dispenser in the low dose orientation, a relatively smaller quantity of fluid product is dispensed.

  • Patent number: 7818905
Abstract: A license plate transport mechanism includes a mounting bracket connectable beneath a vehicle support structure, such as a front bumper of a vehicle. The mounting bracket includes an elongate track with a pivot pin for pivotally mounting a license plate mounting plate. When the mounting plate is at a first end of the track, it pivots to a vertical position that is generally perpendicular to a base of the mounting bracket to display the license plate. The mounting plate is pivotable to a horizontal position generally parallel to the mounting bracket base. Once in the horizontal position, the pivot pin and mounting plate can move toward a second end of the track to store the license plate underneath the vehicle support structure.

  • Publication number: 20080191444
Abstract: A motorcycle rear wheel trim assembly, for mounting relative to a motorcycle rear wheel assembly, comprises a trim piece having an upper edge and a curved lower edge. A first mounting bracket is connected to the trim piece at a first end of the trim piece, and a second mounting bracket is attached to a second end of the trim piece. The first mounting bracket is configured to be connected to a first location on a first stationary structural member of a motorcycle adjacent to a rear wheel assembly of the motorcycle. The second mounting bracket is configured to be connected to a second location on a second stationary structural member of the motorcycle adjacent to the rear wheel assembly of the motorcycle.

  • Publication number: 20080111419
Abstract: A wheel spoke trim piece for attachment to a spoke and a curved rim portion of a wheel includes a first end opposite a second end, and inner and outer surfaces that extend between the first and second ends. The inner surface is generally planar but curves to form a curved portion adjacent to the second end of the trim piece. In this regard, the inner surface is configured to accept a double-sided adhesive material that permits the trim piece to be mounted on a wheel spoke with the curved portion of the trim piece positioned along at least a portion of the curved rim portion of the wheel. A textured surface region may also be formed in the outer surface between the first and second ends.

  • Patent number: 7318624
Abstract: A motorcycle driver backrest has a pair of struts that support a backrest pad and are positioned on opposite sides of a motorcycle, where they are pivotally supported on brackets on the motorcycle. The struts have pivot assemblies that attach to the brackets that permit the backrest to be moved from a stopped working position for supporting a back of a motorcycle rider, to a forwardly folded position. The pivot assemblies are locked onto the brackets with latch dogs, and the latch dogs in turn are moveable between latched and unlatched positions with a hand actuator disc accessible from the exterior of the pivot assemblies. When the latch dog is in an unlatched position, the struts can be sprung apart for removal from the brackets.

  • Patent number: 7287773
Abstract: A set of motorcycle floor boards are provided in position to permit a rider of a motorcycle to place feet on the floor boards when they are generally horizontal. The floor boards are pivotally mounted so that they will pivot upwardly to a vertical retracted position and are made and mounted so they will pivot to be substantially between 80 and 90 degrees from a horizontal plane. This pivoting amount will minimize the space between outer edges of the floor boards in their vertical retracted position to in turn minimize the need for a rider to spread feet widely in order to stabilize the motorcycle when stopped.
