  • Patent number: 10814464
Abstract: A deck clip magazine for use with a pneumatic fastener gun and a plurality of generally T-shaped deck clips attached to one another by webbing to form a clip belt. The deck clip magazine has a housing with a channel shaped to receive the clip belt and a front end with an opening to permit egress of the leading clip from the channel. An aperture on the housing is aligned with the barrel of the pneumatic fastener gun and permits fasteners to pass therethrough to secure the generally T-shaped clips in position. The clips are aligned below the aperture by way of an inwardly biased movable stop located adjacent the opening. A cutting mechanism is aligned with the webbing and selectively actuated to sever the webbing between adjacent clips in the clip belt.

  • Patent number: 9181715
Abstract: A ?-shaped clip with a top horizontal portion and a pair of integrally formed spaced apart vertical legs underneath. The legs define a spacing distance across their span and are inwardly compressible toward each other in response to a side force. The top portion has raised gripping means for frictional engagement. The clip is inserted into grooves of adjacent structural members secure them to a supporting structure.

  • Patent number: 8534526
Abstract: A clip guide apparatus for installation of decking members to an underlying joist structure by means of a clip with a pneumatic screw gun. The clip guide apparatus is comprised of a guide apparatus and a clip installation guide which are attached to the screw gun. The clip installation guide slides in the guide apparatus in response to the operative movement of the screw gun to advance the clip into a decking member. The clip is secured in position with a screw fastener whereby the decking member is secured to the underlying joist structure.

  • Patent number: 8011153
Abstract: A clip device for fastening first and second structural members typically decking members. The clip device has a base portion with first and second opposed ends and a thickness a first vertical leg portion integral with the leg base portion is horizontally spaced apart from a second vertical leg portion integral with the base portion. Arm flange portions integral to the first and second vertical leg portions are horizontally spaced from the base and aligned respectively towards said first and second opposed ends. A fastener receiving hole in the base is used to attach the clip device to the joist. The base portion, vertical leg portion and arm flange portion define diametrically opposed U-shaped jaw elements for holding the structural member to the joist.

  • Patent number: 5775048
Abstract: A deck fastening system includes an underdeck elongated fastening clip. Such clip is in the form of an elongated metallic sheet of a predetermined width. The clip has a profile defined by a fastening flange, and a depending facia projecting at right angles to the fastening flange from the leading edge thereof, which terminates in an intersecting valley. An angularly upwardly-extending track projects from the intersecting valley at the lower end of the depending facia. A washer flange extends outwardly from the leading edge of the angularly-upwardly-extending track.
