    Abstract: A removable and decorative bezel is selectively fixed to an item of footwear, for example, along the side of the shoe or along the tongue. The location to which the bezel is removably attached has a metal ring fixed to the shoe material. The ring is formed with an outer annular flange thereabout that is formed with a plurality of holes. The ring is sewn to the leather by stitching running through the holes of the flange.
