  • Publication number: 20240383401
Abstract: A method of detecting and warning an operator of an off-road vehicle of objects in limited-visibility environments. The method includes: detecting a potentially-hazardous object within the vicinity of the vehicle, using a sensor of the vehicle; transmitting data relating to the potentially-hazardous object to a vehicle processor; determining whether the potentially-hazardous object is in a projected path of the vehicle or in a proximity zone of the vehicle; and alerting the operator of the vehicle to the presence and location of the potentially-hazardous object when the potentially-hazardous object is in the projected path of the vehicle or in the proximity zone of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240388122
Abstract: A method for dynamically controlling an electrical load of a recreational vehicle, including: defining predetermined load-shed levels, each load-shed level corresponding to a reduced electrical power output level supplied to electrically-powered devices; defining a device load-priority for each of the devices; receiving and processing battery data to determine a health of the battery; determining a total current draw on the battery when the recreational vehicle is operating; measuring an electrical output of a vehicle power-generation system; determining a load-shed level based on the determined health of the battery, current draw and electrical output of the power-generation system, the load-shed level corresponding to one of the predetermined load-shed levels; and selectively reducing electrical power supplied from the power-generation system or the battery to at least one of the electrically-powered devices based on the first load-shed level and the load-priority of the at least one electrical device.
