Publication number: 20260087303Abstract: A system and method for automating chat-based interactions utilizing a large language model (LLM) is disclosed. The method involves receiving one or more requests from a user through an apparatus designed to automate various tasks, including data collection from multiple sources. Upon receiving the user's request, a query message is sent to the LLM, which determines whether to collect additional data from one or more Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) or to generate a final response based on the existing message history. If additional data is needed, it is collected from the APIs and incorporated into the LLM's message history. Subsequently, the LLM generates a final response based on either the updated message history or the newly collected data. This final response is then communicated back to the user, ensuring accurate and contextually relevant interactions.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 23, 2024Publication date: March 26, 2026Inventors: Vijay Kumar Ravi, Pavan Ravindra Chhatpar, Jan Zirnstein, Sumanth Chitikireddy, Alpesh Desai, Brian Lau

Patent number: 12170680Abstract: A method, a system, and an article are provided for identification of security-related activities based on usage of a plurality of independent cloud-based, hosted application platforms. An example method includes: receiving, from the application platforms, activity data and state data for a plurality of users of the application platforms; generating one or more predictive models configured to detect deviations from normal user behavior across the application platforms; providing, as input to the one or more predictive models, the activity data and the state data for at least one of the users; receiving, from the one or more predictive models, an indication that an activity of the at least one of the users deviates from the normal user behavior; and facilitating a remedial action to address the indicated deviation.Type: GrantFiled: February 12, 2020Date of Patent: December 17, 2024Assignee: Obsidian Security, Inc.Inventors: Matt Wolff, Alexander Vandenberg-Rodes, Naresh Chebolu, Marcus Mccurdy, Matthew Maisel, Jody Forness, Jedidiah Mitten, Noah Corradin, Samantha Staszak, David Newhall, Christopher Galbraith, Christopher Fuller, Brian Lau, Benjamin Johnson

Patent number: 11997334Abstract: Techniques for dynamically determining a configuration file are described. In an example, a system receives, from a device, a request for first content to be presented by the device. The system determines metadata of the first content and a cue point indicating a start of a segment in which second content can be presented by the device. Based on the metadata and subsequent to the request, the system determines a configuration of the segment. The configuration includes: a duration of the segment, a sequence of slots in the segment, and/or a content duration usable in a slot of the segment. The system generates a configuration file that includes the metadata and the configuration, determines the second content based at least in part on the configuration file, and sends data about the first content and the second content to the device.Type: GrantFiled: December 10, 2021Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Sahil Sethi, Utkarsh Dubey, Karan Juneja, Brian Lau, Mingyu Fan, Akshay Sudhakar Dhokale, Rohit Kumar Saharia, Sathwik Pati, Pravi Garg, Bhuvan Puri, Maciej Tadeusz Golonka

Patent number: 6545855Abstract: An apparatus (100) for reducing inductance in a capacitor having a first terminal (12) and a spaced-apart second terminal (14), includes a first conductive plate (120) and a second conductive plate (140). The first conductive plate (120) is electrically coupled to the first terminal (12). The second conductive plate (140) is electrically coupled to the second terminal (14) and is disposed in parallel with the first conductive plate (120) so as to overlap at least a portion of the first conductive plate (120). An insulating member (122 and 142) is disposed between the first conductive plate (120) and the second conductive plate (140). The insulating member (122 and 142) insulates the first conductive plate (120) from the second conductive plate (140).Type: GrantFiled: December 3, 2001Date of Patent: April 8, 2003Assignee: Motorola, Inc.Inventors: Scott W. Patent number: 4629841Abstract: A hermetically sealed float switch having a bistable ball cage therein. The ball cage is free to pivot between either of two spring biased, over center positions responsive to the position of a ball which is free to roll from either end of the race through the cage to the other end of the race. An over center spring holds the ball cage in its last operated position. A safety arm prevents the ball cage from changing its attitude in any manner which, if uncontrolled, might permit the ball to escape into an inoperative position which might capture it behind the ball cage. Adjustment is provided for the on and off levels of the switch responsive to tether length.Type: GrantFiled: September 24, 1984Date of Patent: December 16, 1986Assignee: Expert CorporationInventors: Richard Riback, Brian Lau, Paul Gergets
