    Abstract: Techniques are described herein for fraud detection which may include generating, from legitimate account data instances, a data compression vocabulary. The data compression vocabulary may specify one or more tokens identified from the legitimate account data instances and a corresponding replacement value. A new instance of account data may be received. Compressed account data may be generated based at least in part on replacing a token identified in the account data with a respective replacement value identified for the token in the data compression vocabulary. Any amount by which the new account data was compressed may be computed and used to make a determination as to whether the new instance of account data is fraudulent or legitimate.

    Abstract: Techniques are described herein for detecting undesirable batch transactions. A machine-learning model that has been trained to determine a likelihood that a given batch transaction is fraudulent may be obtained. The machine-learning model may be trained with a supervised learning algorithm and a training data set example of the training data set comprising a corresponding hash value generated from one or more data fields of at least one batch transaction header and a label indicating whether the training data set example is associated with a fraudulent batch transaction. The method may include generating a hash value based at least in part on providing a set of data field values of one or more batch transaction headers to a hashing algorithm as input. The method may include determining that the batch transaction is fraudulent based at least in part on output received from the machine-learning model.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a Harness PCB that replaces the traditional wiring harness used in a pinball machine. The Harness PCB comprises circuit traces, connectors for all playfield components, LED assemblies, and connectors for device boards. The Harness PCB is attached to the bottom of the playfield and may comprise a single PCB or multiple interconnected PCBs. All playfield components, cabinet components, device boards, and LEDs are connected to the Harness PCB in such a manner that all components that may fail during normal operation are both modular and replaceable. The Harness PCB can be replicated by connecting the device boards directly to breakout boards to create an identical software and hardware environment as the full Harness PCB.

    Abstract: A traffic shifting system is described to shift traffic away from one or more network devices or interfaces. The system ensures that traffic can be safely shifted off of a network device before the shifting occurs. The method is described as broken into several phases, such as a discovery phase, a pre-check phase, a shifting phase, and a post-shift phase. Before shifting occurs, the discovery phase is used to obtain network topology and configuration information. In the pre-check phase, that information is interrogated so that a shifting can be performed without negatively impacting the network. If the pre-check phase is passed, then the network shifting can occur through adjustment of configuration parameters, such as a cost parameter associated with an interface on any devices for which traffic is being shifted. Finally, in the post-shift phase, checks are performed to ensure traffic is shifting away from the network device.
