  • Publication number: 20230100747
Abstract: A window fan is provided that includes a fan housing and chamber assembly. The fan housing includes a front panel with an air outlet and a rear panel with an air inlet and defines a central chamber. The chamber assembly is positioned within the central chamber of the fan housing and includes a cylindrical fan rotatably mounted within the chamber and driven by a fan motor. An air duct assembly is rotatably mounted within the chamber having an air duct panel that is moveable from an open to closed position such that the air duct panel, when in the closed position blocks the airflow through the window fan and permits air flow through the window fan when in the open position. The fan of the window fan assembly may be a cross flow blower fan.

  • Publication number: 20230081223
Abstract: A portable space heater is provided having a heating assembly that includes at least one heating element positioned in front of a fan (defined by the direction of the air flow with the air blowing toward the front) such that the heating element is in linear alignment with the fan along the axis of rotation of the fan. The fan and the at least one heating element may be further positioned within a duct assembly that narrows as it approaches a front grill of the portable space heater.

  • Patent number: 11519616
Abstract: An air circulator with a vane control system to direct and adjust airflow patterns. According to an exemplary embodiment, the present invention provides adjustable, vertical vanes that are attached to the outlet of a tower fan. According to a preferred embodiment, the vanes are pivotally mounted in such a way that by turning a knob, the vanes can either be directed into a focused air-flow pattern or adjusted to a divergent air-flow pattern, or at any setting in between.

  • Publication number: 20220381250
Abstract: A tower fan is provided that includes a fan body having a double cross fan blower centered in the body of the fan with a motor positioned between the fan blowers in the center of the fan body. The tower fan is capable of being oriented in both the horizontal and vertical directions. The fan body may further include first and second ends and at least two supports. At least a first support is coupled to the first end of the fan body and a second support is removably coupled to the least second end of the fan body. The first and second ends of the fan body each have a groove for each receiving at least one of the at least two support members where each groove extends entirely around the fan body. The at least two supports may both be removably coupled to the fan body or one of the at least two supports may be permanently coupled to the first end of the fan body.

  • Patent number: 11506223
Abstract: An improved fan design with an impact absorbing structure is provided. The improved fan design includes a lower fan assembly connected to an upper fan assembly using a mounting bracket. The lower fan assembly may include a fan base having multiple supporting legs which are preferably rotatably connected to the lower fan assembly. The upper fan assembly of the present invention may include a fan motor and fan blades enclosed within a protective structure. The protective structure of the present invention may preferably include an outer fan cover, a fan grille, an external cage and a perimeter shock absorbing ring extending around the circumference of the outer fan cover. The perimeter shock absorbing ring may include an inner surface, an inner absorption layer and an outer surface. The inner absorption layer may preferably include one or more flexible ribs.

  • Publication number: 20220333798
Abstract: The present invention is related in general to air circulators, and in particular, to an air circulator with a vein control system to direct and adjust airflow patterns. According to an exemplary embodiment, the present invention provides adjustable, vertical veins that are attached to the outlet of a tower fan. According to a preferred embodiment, the veins are pivotally mounted in such a way that by turning a knob, the veins can either be directed into a focused air-flow pattern or adjusted to a divergent air-flow pattern, or at any setting in between.
