  • Patent number: 10814540
Abstract: A hot runner injection molding apparatus, and method of use, is disclosed in which strain gauges are provided in the temperature zones of the hot runner injection molding apparatus and a hot runner controller creates a target strain profile, detects deviations from the target strain profile in any temperature zone based on the strain readings provided by the strain gauges in each temperature zone, and instructs correction of deviations from the target strain profile in any deviating temperature zone by adjusting the heat produced by a heater or heaters in the deviating temperature zone. The target strain profile may be based on a median or average of strain readings provided over time by the strain gauges in each temperature zone. A hollow installation tube for placing the strain gauges in the hot runner injection molding apparatus is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10747816
Abstract: An asset monitoring and reporting system (AMRS) implements an interface to establish an asset hierarchy to be monitored and reported against. The interface employs a search query of extant asset data from which definitional aspects of the asset hierarchy can be identified, and therefrom the interface automatically determines control information reflective of the asset hierarchy to direct the ongoing operation of the AMRS. The asset or component hierarchy may further inform operations related to the generation and display of a user interface presenting widgets that graphically depict information about one or more such components during AMRS operation.

  • Publication number: 20200110882
Abstract: To facilitate distinguishing between topics which belong to the same or similar semantic fields, previously-known domain information is modeled with a bipartite graph. The bipartite graph created for the software security domain indicates a set of risks and a set of mitigation actions. A topic categorization system utilizes the bipartite graph to identify which risks and mitigation actions were discussed in a conversation by first using existing NLP techniques to extract relevant topics from conversation text and subsequently mapping the topics to the bipartite graph. A security assessment report identifying potential security threats and corresponding mitigation actions is generated based on the resulting mappings. Conversation fragments which were extracted and mapped are included in the assessment report.

  • Patent number: 10592273
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided in which a source and target perform bidirectional forwarding of traffic while a migration guest is being transferred from the source to the target. In some examples, the migration guest is exposed to the impending migration and takes an action in response. A virtual network programming controller informs other devices in the network of the change, such that those devices may communicate directly with the migration guest on the target host. According to some examples, an “other” virtual network device in communication with the controller and the target host facilitates the seamless migration. In such examples, the forwarding may be performed only until the other virtual machine receives an incoming packet from the target host, and then the other virtual machine resumes communication with the migration guest on the target host.

  • Patent number: 10566214
Abstract: Embodiments relate to forming nanoporous contacts on a receiving substrate without using a seed layer on the receiving substrate. The nanoporous contacts can be used to create bonds between electronic components and the receiving substrate. To form the contacts, a photoresist mask is created on the receiving substrate by a photolithographic process. Through a sputtering process, portions of co-alloy on a depositing substrate are transferred to the receiving substrate with the photoresist mask. The photoresist mask is removed from the receiving substrate. The remaining co-alloy portions on the receiving substrate undergo a de-alloying process to form an array of nanoporous contacts.
