  • Patent number: 8690210
Abstract: A shell case for use with a pad style computer can have a rotating disc at its bottom. This disc can have a strap which connects to a user's hand to allow the user to rotate and/or hold the computer at a desired position with one hand, thereby allowing the other hand to do other things, such as type on the keypad. Meanwhile the holding hand does not quickly tire out as it is not typically grasping the computer as would often occur without the use of a case.

  • Patent number: 8292967
Abstract: A prosthesis includes an implant defining an attachment surface thereon. A porous insert is selectively coupled to the implant. The porous insert is adapted to be received at the attachment surface of the implant in a retained position. The porous insert is adapted to facilitate tissue ingrowth. In one embodiment the implant comprises a femoral component. The femoral component comprises an inner condylar portion having a first and second lateral sidewalls, an anterior wall and a posterior wall defining a box. The box defines the attachment surface. In other embodiments, the implant comprises a hip stem and an acetabular shell.

  • Publication number: 20070265708
Abstract: A patellar implant includes a posterior portion and an anterior portion. The posterior portion may define an articulating surface and a first retaining feature. The anterior portion may define a tissue engaging portion and a second retaining feature adapted to advance into a mechanical interlock with the first retaining feature in an assembled position. The mechanical interlock between the first and second retaining features may cooperate to resist separation of the posterior and anterior portions in the assembled position.
