A multi-layered coating system has a flop index of greater than 10 and includes a substrate, a liquid metal layer disposed about the substrate and formed from the liquid metal composition, and a topcoat layer disposed about the liquid metal layer and formed from a topcoat composition. A method of painting the substrate with the liquid metal composition and the topcoat composition to form the multi-layered coating system includes the steps of applying the liquid metal composition onto the substrate at an application percent solids of greater than 10% to form the liquid metal layer, applying the topcoat composition onto the liquid metal layer to form the topcoat layer, and curing the layers to form the multi-layered coating system.

The rotor assembly is coupled to the input shaft. The first housing portion is coupled to the second housing portion and the second housing portion is rotatably disposed on the input shaft. The coil assembly (80) is coupled to the first housing portion (52). The brush box is operably coupled to the coil assembly. When the coil assembly is energized by the brush box, a magnetic field is created that acts upon the magnetorheological fluid to vary the torque transfer of the input shaft to the housing and the fan connected thereto.

    Abstract: An electronic device for compensating voltage fluctuations in an electrical power distribution circuit controls operation of a transformer of the type having a TCUL voltage regulator by automatically calculating the voltage bandwidth of the transformer based upon a stored value for peak current in the distribution circuit. The peak current value is automatically updated when the actual current in the circuit exceeds the stored peak current value for a predetermined sustained period of time indicating a change in overall loading patterns in the circuit but, regardless of increases in actual current in the distribution circuit, the apparatus prevents the output voltage from exceeding a preset absolute maximum.
