    Abstract: An overhead support and charging system for a humanoid robot includes a base with a vertical arm supporting a horizontal cantilever arm, a tether extending from the base comprising at least one electrical conductor and at least one mechanically tensionable cable, a power electronics assembly configured to convert utility power into charging power, and a coupler for mechanically and electrically connecting the tether to a humanoid robot coupling assembly. The coupling assembly includes a pair of frame couplers attachable to an upper extent of the robot's torso and a pair of electrically insulated, hinged rigid braces configured to conduct electrical power. A harness with an integrated power bus secures the robot to the system. The humanoid robot includes a torso assembly housing a battery pack and power distribution unit with frame couplers electrically connected thereto. A retractable tether system provides both mechanical support and electrical charging connectivity through a unified coupler mechanism.

    Abstract: A humanoid-robot support system includes a humanoid robot having a torso and a waist, with left and right harness supports formed on the waist, together with a removable harness carried on the torso. Each harness support defines a concave anchor recess having an anchor aperture and, in some embodiments, a separate docking aperture sized to receive a docking arm of a support stand. Left and right frame couplers extend from the harness down to the waist, each including a waist coupler having a main body with a strap aperture, a transverse body, and an angular body carrying a projection that is received in the anchor aperture, the coupler bearing against the waist through a compliant high-friction lining. The harness supports are positioned rearward of the robot's coronal plane and on opposite sides of a vertical plane containing the torso's center of gravity, so that suspension load is transferred to the waist while the robot hangs substantially upright.

A first extent of a second heat sink is thermally coupled to the GPU and a second extent is positioned within the air flow path.

The hip pitch actuator assembly has a portion positioned within the pelvis and is coupled to the actuator mount. The hip roll actuator assembly is coupled to the hip pitch actuator assembly, with a non-90 degree angle formed between their axes. The leg twist actuator assembly is coupled to the hip roll actuator assembly and positioned below extents of both the hip pitch and hip roll actuator assemblies.
