    Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting malware on routers use transformer-based anomaly detection. System call data and network packet data are collected from a router and transformed into vector embeddings using embedding models such as sys2vec or net2vec. The embeddings are processed by a transformer-based encoder, such as a BERT model, trained with contrastive or contrastive adversarial learning using anchor, positive, and negative samples derived from benign behavior. The resulting model distinguishes anomalous activity, including zero-day and network-intensive malware, from benign behavior with low false positive rates. Detection occurs at the router or hub level, reducing computational overhead on resource-constrained Internet of Things (IoT) devices and enabling real-time protection without reliance on cloud-based solutions.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method for efficiently supporting multiple peripheral communication protocols in a computing system. A computing system includes multiple servers with one or more of the servers using multiple connectors for connecting to multiple peripheral devices such as data storage devices. At least one of the connectors is able to support multiple communication protocols, rather than a single communication protocol. A processor of the server determines a peripheral device has been attached to a connector that supports multiple communication protocols, and the processor determines whether one of the multiple communication protocols supported by the particular connector matches the attached peripheral device's communication protocol. If so, the processor configures the connector with the matching communication protocol. Otherwise, the processor generates an indication that specifies that there is no match.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing smoothies and in particular, green smoothies, to consumers and to retail businesses for resale without the need for a blender is disclosed. According to the method, a smoothie mixture is made according to a variety of recipes and then frozen into cubes that dimensions with surface to volume ratios that allow the cubes to be quickly reconstituted into a smoothie beverage by adding hot water and vigorously shaking the mixture. The cubes are large enough that they do not quickly thaw in the packaging and then potentially refreeze in the packaging to create a solid mass. In embodiments the cubes are divided into single serving size rigid containers wherein the consumer or reseller introduces hot water into the container.
