  • Patent number: 12597147
Abstract: A method of image correlation includes: obtaining a first image frame with a set of distinct features; obtaining a second image frame at least partially overlapping the first image frame; carrying out a cross-correlation operation of the first and second image frames to obtain a cross-correlation result indicating correlation values for different offset positions of the second image frame with respect to the first image frame, the highest correlation value with its associated offset position in the cross-correlation result indicating the most likely offset position of the second image frame with respect to the first image frame; and carrying out a reaggregation operation of the cross-correlation result to generate a distinct global maximum correlation value from a plurality of non-distinct correlation values in an aggregated cross-correlation result. The reaggregation operation involves carrying out a convolution of the cross-correlation result with a 1×2, 2×1, or 2×2 array of 1's.

  • Publication number: 20250390830
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a system and method for order batching. An example method includes receiving a plurality of orders for delivery to a plurality of destinations; generating permutations of the orders corresponding to different sequences of the destinations; estimating, for the permutations, one or more of a total delivery time, a total promise time miss, and a total hold time miss; generating batch scores for the permutations based on the respective total delivery time, total promise time miss, and total hold time miss; generating a permutation ranking based on the batch scores; determining a top-ranked permutation; assigning orders in the top-ranked permutation to one of a plurality of delivery persons; initiating preparation of the orders in response to determining that an estimated arrival interval of the delivery person is within an estimated preparation interval; and dispatching delivery of the orders to the delivery person.

  • Patent number: 12488476
Abstract: A method for tracking a position of an optical computer mouse based on determining a spatial displacement between image frames. A respective image frame is considered as an anchor frame if the respective image frame comes first in a sequence of image frames or the distance of the respective image frame to its immediately previous anchor frame is equal to or greater than a displacement threshold, and the respective image is considered as an intermediate frame if its distance to its immediately previous anchor frame is below the displacement threshold. Only anchor frames are stored in memory and used for future displacement measurements between image frames captured by the mouse.

  • Publication number: 20250316369
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for Digital Patient Tracking and Triage System (DPTTS) that enables next-generation digital medical triage, specifically allowing first responders to transmit patients' biomedical data, utilizing wearable biosensors, to respective medical/emergency care facilities. The present invention also provides a novel method of medical triage and patient tracking that bridges the gap from incident/emergency to the medical/emergency care facility while integrating wearable biosensors and IoT devices to measure and transmit the patient's biomedical data. It visually integrates this data into a common operating picture to provide situational awareness in medical emergencies to empower EMTs and other emergency responders, particularly in mass casualty and disaster events.

  • Publication number: 20250128909
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for winding flexible material include a rotatable plate assembly rotatably driven by a first rotary shaft, the assembly supporting second and third rotary shafts with corresponding first and second mandrel parts mounted thereon. The first and second mandrel parts each form at least part of a winding spool. The second and third rotary shafts have rotational axes that are parallel to one another and parallel to, but laterally offset from, the rotational axis of the first rotary shaft. The rotation of the plate assembly is coordinated with counter rotation of the first and second mandrel parts. In embodiments, such coordinated rotation occurs during transition operations performed between winding operations that employ the first and second mandrel parts in an ordered sequence one after the other. The flexible material can be cable, wire, tubing, hose, rope, or other filamentary material. Other aspects are described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20240045522
Abstract: A method for applying illumination correction for an optical computer mouse, includes: flashing a light source of the mouse directed towards a surface; accumulating voltage on a pixel array of the mouse to obtain raw pixel values of an image frame in response to detecting light reflected from the surface; applying analog correction to the raw pixel values based on digital gain coefficients to obtain an array of corrected pixel values forming corrected image data; digitizing the corrected image data with an analog-to-digital converter to obtain digital pixel values forming digital image data; and updating the digital gain coefficients so that a gain coefficient corresponding to a digital pixel value is incremented if the digital pixel value is below or equal to a given pixel threshold value, and so that the gain coefficient is decremented if the digital pixel value is above the given pixel threshold value.

  • Patent number: 11521233
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for interacting with advertisements on a virtual keyboard. An advertisement appears in a position that is proximate to a virtual key of the virtual keyboard. A user can manipulate the advertisement based on performing one or more types of gestures or key presses on or near the virtual keys. One type of gesture triggers an interaction with the advertisement and another type of gesture or key press performs a standard keyboard function.

  • Patent number: 11487017
Abstract: A system and method for detection of an aerial drone in an environment includes a baseline of geo-mapped sensor data in a temporal and location indexed database formed by (i) using at least one sensor to receive signals from the environment and converting into digital signals for further processing; (ii) deriving time delays, object signatures, Doppler shifts, reflectivity, and/or optical characteristics from the received signals; (iii) geo-mapping the environment using GNSS and the sensor data; and (iv) logging sensor data over a time interval, for example 24 hours to 7 days. Live sensor data can be then be monitored and signature data can be derived by computing at least one parameter such as direction and signal strength. The live data is continuously or periodically compared to the baseline data to identify a variance, if any, which may be indicative of a detection event.
