Publication number: 20240074677Abstract: A monitoring apparatus and method includes a monitor, a sensor comprising a wireless connection with the monitor, and an adapter comprising the wireless connection with the monitor and a wired or wireless connection with a remote monitoring station. The monitor is designed to wirelessly pair with the sensor and/or the adapter when being only positioned by a user in a closed proximity to the sensor and/or the adapter or in a direct contact with the sensor and/or the adapter and without an additional action by the user and/or a wired connection between the monitor and the sensor and/or the adapter. A pairing alignment mark may be provided on each of the monitor, sensor and adapter.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 10, 2023Publication date: March 7, 2024Applicant: TIDI Products, LLCInventors: Justin K. Publication number: 20220012831Abstract: Systems and methods for estimating the likelihood that an individual or project in a collaborative environment will produce intellectual property are provided. A plurality of relationships that exist between individuals in a collaborative environment may be identified and mapped by one or more processors. In particular, the individuals in the collaborative environment who have historically produced intellectual property may be indicated within the context of the map. Based on a particular individual's mapped relationships to one or more other individuals in the collaborative environment who have historically produced intellectual property, a probability that the particular individual will produce intellectual property may be calculated. Additionally, one or more projects (e.g., including individuals having relationships with one another) may be identified within the context of the map.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 12, 2017Publication date: January 13, 2022Inventors: Brian Nathan Bellville, Patrick J. Johnson, Amy Radue Engelhorn

Publication number: 20160365162Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a method for generating optimal power plant decommissioning plans based on stakeholder constraints. In example embodiments, the method may include receiving one or more constraints for determining a power plant decommissioning plan. The method further includes accessing decommissioning strategy data representing a plurality of possible decommissioning plans, and generating a decommissioning plan in accordance with the constraints based on the decommissioning strategy data. The method may further include causing presentation of a user interface on a client device that includes a graphical representation of the power plant decommissioning plan.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 12, 2015Publication date: December 15, 2016Inventors: Christopher Donald Johnson, Brian Nathan Dingman, Ilkin Onur Dulgeroglu, David Joseph Brewer, Gregg Allen Schneider, Eric Russell Mino

Patent number: 7869984Abstract: The invention provides a method and system to simulate a process of discrete tasks having a plurality of available resources associated therewith. The system may comprise a model database to store a plurality of models, each model including a plurality of task and resource parameters; a model portion in communication with the model database and configured to receive commands from a user, to retrieve one of the plurality of models and corresponding task and resource parameters in response to a user command, to receive input data corresponding to attributes of one or more task and resource parameters from a business database system, and to generate a simulation model based on the selected business database system and the input data; and a model server to perform a simulation of the process by processing the simulation model and to generate an output data file containing output data representative of the simulation.Type: GrantFiled: May 25, 2007Date of Patent: January 11, 2011Assignee: General Electric CompanyInventors: Kimberley Marie Mangino, Corey Nicholas Bufi, Brian Nathan Dingman, Snehil Gambhir

Patent number: 7110970Abstract: An integrated system organizes a company's experiences, operating procedures, best practices, information sources, competitive information and analytical tools. The goal is increasing profitability within a due diligence process while facilitating ongoing operations. The system incorporates a method for collaborating on due diligence issues to affect knowledge building within due diligence teams. The method includes accessing stored, accumulated knowledge in a repository from prior due diligence exercises, applying to due diligence decisions criteria based on consolidated analytical building blocks of past due diligence exercises and storing newly accumulated knowledge from the current due diligence exercise into the repository of accumulated knowledge.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2000Date of Patent: September 19, 2006Assignee: GE Capital Commercial Finance, Inc.Inventors: Brian Nathan Dingman, Richard Paul Messmer, Marc Thomas Edgar, Christopher Donald Johnson

Publication number: 20040150208Abstract: A vehicle structure includes a combination of hydro-formed, generally tubular shaped rails joined by an overlapping joint to a two-piece cross member. The overlapping joint is formed between a rail aperture and the cross member. To retain the structural strength lost by removing material from the rails, a weld joint is formed about the total perimeter of contact between the rail aperture and the cross member. The cross member includes a shoulder area formed to nest within the rail aperture. The two-piece cross member assembly reduces total parts while providing a plurality of cross member geometries and the necessary tolerance flexibility at the rail connections. The cross member is formed of two generally C-shaped members having butted or overlapping mating surfaces joined by a perimeter weld joint.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 31, 2003Publication date: August 5, 2004Inventors: Brian Nathan, Gerald R. Thom, Brian A. Enck, Rajesh Koli, Stephen Fraczek, Rama Vallurupalli, Ram Bhandarkar
