    Abstract: A portable diagnostic device has a lysate stage (167) with a port for receiving a sample and containing magnetic beads with a probe, and an outlet port. A series of assay stages (161-164) are linked with the lysate vessel, each with a reservoir linked by channels. The final stage (164) has a sensor (169) for detecting beads attached to analyte molecules which have been conveyed according to attachment to probes on beads. Larger transport beads cause reporter beads which are tethered by target NA and probes to be transported to the final sensor stage, where they are released and detected when the transport beads have been removed.

    Abstract: An improved feeding catheter is provided for feeding/recycling chyme to a distal stoma. The improved catheter includes a hollow tube having an end for insertion into stoma, and a second end adapted to be connected to a fluid source. The first end includes a retention feature comprising a plurality of ribs extending outwardly and longitudinally away from the tube and terminating at a nose junction. Web walls extend between at least one pair of adjacent ribs and the ribs further define a side facing opening configured for fluid to exit into the gastrointestinal tract. Further the retention feature can be moved between a relaxed condition and a stretched condition for insertion through the distal opening, wherein the maximum width of the retention feature in the stretched condition is less than the maximum width of the retention feature in the relaxed condition.

    Abstract: A data processing system includes a transaction bus, a console application in communication with the transaction bus, and a view predictor subsystem in communication with the transaction bus. The transaction bus receives, from a user application executing on a client device, a call for visual information to be provided to the user application. The view predictor subsystem determines a likelihood that the visual information will be viewable within a viewport of the user application, and a plurality of respective values for a plurality of sources of the visual information are computed based on the likelihood and a respective priority for each source. The console application provides to the transaction bus the set of potential sources of the visual information, and the transaction bus selects, based on the computed values, one of the potential sources of the visual information to be the result, which is provided to the user application.

A query tree may be generated from the query and identifiers may be generated for nodes of the query tree and stored in the nodes. Labels may be stored in nodes determined to meet at least one criteria for being labeled nodes to generate a labeled query tree. The nodes of the labeled query tree may be processed by receiving results from an entry in a results data structure and returning the results from the entry as the results for the node if the identifier of the nodes matches the identifier of an entry in the results data structure. If there is no match, results may be computed for the node. The results generated by computing the node may be stored in the results data structure if the node has a label.
