The semiconductor die includes a photomultiplier array disposed on the first side. The scintillator crystal is disposed on the first side of the semiconductor die. The apparatus also includes a carrier disposed on the second side of the semiconductor die. The photomultiplier array is electrically coupled with the carrier. The apparatus further includes a molding material disposed on a sidewall defined by at least one of the semiconductor die or the carrier. The molding material is configured to protect the photomultiplier array from moisture ingress.

The femoral preparation guide is for use on a condyle of a femur during a surgical procedure in which the condyle receives a femoral condylar implant. The femoral preparation guide includes a posterior portion for fitting over a posterior region of the condyle and a distal portion for fitting over a distal region of the condyle. The distal portion is at an angle relative to the posterior portion. The distal portion includes first and second resections slots for receiving cutting tools that provide two resections of the condyle.     Abstract: A method of analyzing a composite structure for damage tolerance. The method includes obtaining a structural configuration and determining at least one metric of interest for the structural configuration. A dent depth meta-model is developed based on the structural configuration, the at least one metric of interest, and information obtained from a machine learning algorithm. The at least one metric of interest provides a constraint for the dent depth meta-model and the machine learning algorithm is trained based on a historical physical test dataset of a plurality of composite components. The dent depth meta-model is utilized to estimate an impact energy to establish a threshold dent depth in the structural configuration. A computer-based simulation is performed with the structural configuration utilizing the impact energy from the dent depth meta-model. At least one design value is determined for the structural configuration based on output data generated from the computer-based simulation.
