  • Publication number: 20170347750
Abstract: An article of wear (1) comprises leggings (4), leg portions (8) of which terminate in foot engageable elements (10), and shoe elements (5) are releasably engageable with the foot engageable elements (10). An inner sole (22) of each shoe element (5) is located within each foot engageable element (10) and is secured to an outer sole (13) of the corresponding shoe element (5) by T-shaped elements (29) which extend from the outer sole (13) and engage L-shaped elements (30) in first recesses (39) in the inner sole (22) with sole portion (25) of the corresponding foot engageable element (10) tightly clamped between the outer and inner soles (13,22). First pads (53) of hooks (54) on the outer soles (13) are engageable with second pads (55) of eyes (56) in second recesses (58) of the inner soles (22) adjacent toe portions (50) thereof for retaining the toe portions (50) of the outer and inner soles (13,22) tightly together.

  • Publication number: 20170239124
Abstract: Apparatus (60) for supporting a subject (2) in an inverted state comprises a ground engaging plinth (8) and a support platform (12) pivotally coupled to the plinth (8) about a first pivot axis (15) so that the support platform (12) is pivotal between a first state with a subject (2) in a supine state on the support platform (12) and a second state with the subject (2) inverted on the support platform (12). The subject is supported in the inverted state on the support platform (12) by shoulder engaging elements (24), and is secured to the support platform (12) by a torso strap (35). A foot engageable element (77) connected to a weight carrying bar (84) through connecting members (79,82) extending through an elongated slot (80) in the support platform (12) allows leg and abdominal muscles to be exercised by urging the foot engageable element (77) in the direction of the arrow A against weights (85) carried on the weight carrying bar (84).

  • Patent number: 7051453
Abstract: A system for cleaning a particulate trap comprises locating the trap in a chamber and forcing cleaning air through the trap. The air and removed particulates is extracted from the trap towards a filter. The expelled air essentially without the removed particulates from the chamber, the removed particulates being essentially trapped in the filter. The trap is locatable about a longitudinal axis such that air is urged in a longitudinal direction through the trap. The trap is supportable on at least one rotatable roller to affect rotation about the axis. A motor and blower draws air from the chamber and an air pressure differential about the filter causes the particulate to be directed through the filter and excess air is pumped out of the blower by the motor operating the blower.
