  • Patent number: 11502995
Abstract: Users of an endpoint remediation system can be assigned to different roles, from which they can request exceptions, approve exceptions, and/or enable remediation on endpoint devices. The compliance scanning and enforcing process can be automated, while allowing entities to request and/or approve certain exceptions. Therefore, security compliance for customers can be actively managed to provide visibility to the endpoint device compliance state at any time.

  • Publication number: 20220098925
Abstract: A shutter is provided. First and second side rails have cavities running in a direction from top to bottom, each cavity having an opening along a lateral side. A plurality of pairs of slat supports are present, each pair having a slat support mounted in the cavity of the first rail and mounted in the cavity of the second rail. Each slat support has a first section and a second section. The first section has a shape to slide into one of the cavities, and to stack and nest with an adjacent first section of another slat support in the one of the cavities. The second section protrudes through the opening of the one of the cavities. A plurality of slats are present, each slat being mounted on the second sections of one of the pairs of slat supports.

  • Publication number: 20220025699
Abstract: A torsion spring adjuster for a rolling shutter is provided. A support plate has a first flange with a hole. A wheel is rotatably mountable on the support plate. The wheel has: a drive recess shaped to engage an end of a torsion spring; a first set of recesses around a circumference of the wheel, the first set of recesses being a first lateral distance from a first end of the wheel; a second set of recesses around a circumference of the wheel, the second set of recesses being a second lateral distance from the first end of the wheel. When the wheel is mounted on the support plate the first lateral distance aligns the first set of recesses with the hole of the first flange of the support plate, and the second lateral distance aligns the second set of recess past the first flange of the support plate.

  • Patent number: 11179926
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to additive manufacturing of an object using both a digital light processing (DLP) projector and a focused energy source to irradiate a photopolymerizable material, and apparatuses and methods for the same. The DLP projector irradiates and cures an outer perimeter of the object, and the focused energy source irradiates and cures an inner region of the object. In a preferred embodiment, irradiation by both the DLP projector and the focused energy source occur from underneath a tank holding the photopolymerizable material and through a transparent window.

  • Patent number: 11128668
Abstract: Embodiments relate to an intelligent computer platform to utilize a micro-service architecture that supports secure connection and policy management for devices. The micro-services include managers to support establishment of a secure connection. The managers register devices in the architecture, and define security policies which are encoded as rules. The policies and corresponding rules are stored in a knowledge base operatively coupled to the architecture. The patterns of security policies are learned over time and used for recommending new rules or validating existing rules. The managers selectively validate one or more rules that correspond to a setting of a requesting device. The secure connection is established for a network level device determined to comply with one or more of the selectively validated rules.

  • Publication number: 20210212628
Abstract: The bottom surface of a patient's foot makes contact with the receiving region of a device body to cause a set of temperature sensors to produce a current set of temperature values. Four or more earlier sets of temperature values produced at earlier times for the bottom surface of the patient's foot are accessed. Next, after setting a normalization reference for the earlier sets of temperature values and the current set of temperature values to produce normalized data, the normalized data is transformed into model information representing the progression of PDN or PAD. That model information is used to ascertain the trajectory of the patient's PDN or PAD.

  • Publication number: 20210165774
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed herein for updating a knowledge graph based on a user confirmation. A media guidance application receives a user communication and isolates a term of the user communication. The media guidance application identifies a candidate component of a knowledge graph associated with the term. The media guidance application requests user input directed to confirming whether the term is associated with the candidate component. In response to receiving the user input, the media guidance application modifies a strength of association between the term and the component.

  • Publication number: 20210120041
Abstract: An assessment component that facilitates assessment and enforcement of policies within a computer environment can comprise a compliance component that determines whether a policy, that defines one or more requirements associated with usage of one or more enterprise components of an enterprise computing system, is in compliance with a plurality of standardized policies that govern operation of the one or more enterprise components of the enterprise computing system. The assessment component can also comprise a policy optimization component that determines one or more changes to the policy that achieve the compliance with the plurality of standardized polices based on a determination that the policy complies with a first standardized policy of the plurality of standardized policies and fails to comply with a second standardized policy of the plurality of standardized policies.
