  • Publication number: 20160376778
Abstract: A urinal system for fluidly coupling a urinal to a toilet includes a toilet that has a first supply line and the first supply line supplies the toilet with a fluid for flushing the toilet. A urinal is coupled to the toilet and a tube is fluidly coupled between the toilet and the urinal. Thus, the urinal drains into the toilet. A second supply line is fluidly coupled to the first supply line such that the second supply line supplies the urinal with the fluid for flushing the urinal.

  • Publication number: 20110146469
Abstract: A piercing tip for a jaw of a shearing apparatus includes a main body having an open linear slot formed therein, and a complementary linear channel formed in the main body parallel to and open to the slot to capture within the channel an enlarged elongate head of a jaw of a shearing apparatus. A jaw for a shearing apparatus includes a raised rail, an enlarged elongate head positioned along the raised rail, and a piercing tip for piercing the scrap material upon movement of the jaw to the closed position. The piercing tip has a slot formed therein for receiving the raised rail and a widened channel formed in the slot for receiving the enlarged elongate head to maintain the engagement of the piercing tip with the second jaw.

  • Patent number: 7051912
Abstract: Article breaking apparatus for mounting on an arm of a suitable vehicle, the apparatus having a pair of hydraulically operated jaws (12, 24), the first jaw (12) of the pair having first and second mutually perpendicular article supporting surfaces (14, 16) and the second jaw having an article engaging surface (26). The jaws (12, 14) are movable about a first pivot axis (22) between an article receiving position in which the first article supporting surface (14) and the article engaging surface (26) diverge away from the first pivot axis (22) and an article breaking position in which said surfaces (14, 26) diverge towards the first pivot axis (22). When an article (82) is located between the jaws (12, 24) and the jaws (12, 24) move from the receiving to the breaking position, the article (82) will be urged towards the second article supporting surface (16) and held there against until broken by the relative movement of the said surfaces (14, 26).

  • Patent number: 5975442
Abstract: A granulator for separating the constituent parts of electrical cable containing relatively light-weight plastic covering relatively heavy electrically-conductive material. The granulator includes a first cutter for cutting the cable into short pieces and a second cutter for cutting the short pieces of cable into a still shorter length sufficient to detach the plastic from the electrically-conductive material to form a mixture of small pieces of plastic and electrically-conductive material. A vibratory sorter separates the mixture of plastic and electrically-conductive material, and includes an elongate, circular and spirally-extending track having a material inlet adjacent a bottom end thereof for receiving the mixture of plastic and electrically-conductive material for separation and a electrically-conductive material discharge slot adjacent a top end thereof for discharging electrically-conductive material.

  • Patent number: 4818005
Abstract: A grapple with a mounting bracket for attachment to the outer boom of an excavator having a hydraulic cylinder with a top jaw mounted for pivotal movement on the mounting bracket. A bottom jaw is attached to the mounting bracket for opening and closing cooperation with the top jaw. Linkages are connected, respectively, to the top and bottom jaws and to the hydraulic cylinder for unison powered movement of the top and bottom jaws into an open position, and for unison powered movement of the top and bottom jaws into a closed position by operation of only the single hydraulic cylinder through the linkage. The top jaw and the bottom jaw are coaxially mounted on the mounting bracket. The linkages include a top linkage bar connected by one end to the top jaw and a bottom linkage bar connected by one end to the bottom jaw. The other end of both top and bottom linkage bars are attached to the hydraulic cylinder through a hydraulic cylinder linkage bar.
