Abstract: A method may include capturing, by a camera, video data that relates to operation of the automobile. The method may include storing the video data using a first data storage device that includes a first storage capacity in which older video data included in the first data storage device is overwritten by newer video data upon exceeding the first storage capacity. The method may include determining whether an event has occurred at a given time point, and responsive to determining that the event has occurred, identifying a video segment included in the first data storage device that corresponds to the event. The method may include storing the video segment using a second data storage device. The method may include identifying a reviewing entity to which the video segment may be sent based on video content of the video segment and sending the video segment to the identified reviewing entity.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for authenticating a person's identity to a business using a trusted entity with a secure repository to store and protect the person's identity information. The person accesses their account on the trusted entity's server using a user name and a password. Then, the trusted entity grants the person a unique code so the person can authenticate their identity to the business. The person delivers the unique code to the transactional entity. The business makes a request to verify the unique code with the trusted entity. The trusted entity verifies the unique code, which authenticates the person's identity to the business.

Abstract: Implementations of the present invention provide systems, methods, and apparatus for stopping unauthorized transactions before they are processed, as well as for creating and using one or more sub-accounts. For example, a debit or credit account can be activated or deactivated at will through various spend control mechanisms, which can be limited by specified time periods, numbers of transactions, and/or monetary amounts. Further implementations also relate to using a unique 6-digit identification number (or biometric information) that is known only to the account granting institution and the primary account owner for the various types of activation/deactivation.

Abstract: Systems and methods for securing a social security number involve pairing a traditional personal identification number, or other personal identifier, with a social security number for verification purposes. In particular, the owner of the social security number can link a PIN, or other identifier, to their social security number in a data storage system. If the owner of a social security number is required to verify their identity, the institution requiring the identity verification can request from the user and submit the person's PIN, or other personal information, to a third-party granting system (e.g., trusted entity), in order to verify that it is paired with the social security number. If the PIN matches the social security number/PIN pairing in the data storage system, the institution can be notified that the individual is verified, and/or indeed owns the social security number.

An account issuer establishes an account for the account holder and associates a regular account number and a limited-use account number with the account. The limited-use account number remains inactive until the account holder requests activation thereof The regular account number is activated and is made available to the account holder for use in any desired number of transactions. Upon receiving the request for activation of the limited-use account number, the account issuer activates the limited-use account number for either a specified period of time or a specified number of transactions.
