Abstract: A method and apparatus operates multiple applications via an operating system using a set of instructions, and formats the results of several applications into a common format. The applications can reside on one or more computer systems and may be operated by placing objects into a queue and allowing application interfaces that run the applications to retrieve the objects from the queue when the application is available for operation. The instructions can specify conditions based on the results of one or more of the applications and the method and apparatus change the execution flow of the instructions based on these conditions and the results produced. In addition, the results from multiple applications may be placed into a common database for subsequent processing.
