  • Publication number: 20150051037
Abstract: A motor vehicle 10 includes a hydromechanical powersplit transmission 11, a prime mover 13, an engine drive shaft 14, drive wheels 15, a differential 16, a differential drive shaft 17, and frame rails 18. The transmission 11 includes a connecting plate 25 having a hydraulic side 25a with a pressurized hydraulic chamber 36 filled with hydraulic fluid and a gear set side 25b with an atmospheric pressure gear side chamber 37 partially filled with lubricating oil. The connecting plate 25 provides a hydraulic manifold. A prime mover input shaft 41, 62 extends through the hydraulic chamber 36 and connecting plate 25 and is drivingly connected to one of the planetary gear components 71. Hydraulic pump motor units 42, 43 include hydraulic pump motor unit drive shafts 44, 45 that extend through connecting plate 25 and are drivingly connected to planetary gear components 71.

  • Patent number: 4589314
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for cutting motion picture film negatives. The improvements in the present invention film cutting apparatus enable the film cutter to cut the motion picture film negative with a precise, even, clean cut at a location mid-way between adjacent frames of film footage. This is necessary when using a new technique of negative cutting and splicing that allows no frame loss and still maintains all of the requirements of professional (state of the art) motion picture film processing. This has never before been done. The improvements include individual film seating plates which press the lengths of motion picture film to be cut against individual film support and ejection plates to assure that the lengths of film are securely held prior to and during the cutting operation. The present invention also provides safety features to assure that the operator will not accidentally cut himself during the operation.

  • Patent number: 4468268
Abstract: An improved method of splicing film such as original motion picture film negative which provides a quick, efficient and inexpensive way to splice the film in such a fashion that no frames of film footage are lost as a result of the splice, the splice is permanent and a new splice can be made over the old splice if necessary.
