  • Patent number: 11964182
Abstract: The present invention relates to an indoor stand with degrees of movement side gear for use with bicycles comprising two main components assembled in an integrated manner: 1) a rear roller and 2) a front stand that attaches to the fork, instead of the front wheel, in which springs or cushions below the front fork allow degree of lateral movement to the left and right, in which a main bar is coupled to the base by an axis that allows the lateral movement degrees with stability. The presence of these components makes the present invention well simulate the experience of pedaling outdoors and working on the user's shoulders, arms and abdomen.

  • Publication number: 20240068398
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of energy recovery from hot exhaust gases, a type of system that is widely used in industrial generator assemblies to produce steam used in industrial processes or cold to cool perishables or to cool environments. The system according to the present invention applies to the recovery of energy from exhaust gases in small generator assemblies, smaller than 10 MW, and comprises a turbo (1) connected to the exhaust gas outlet (2) in a small power plant generator assembly (3) and in which said turbo (1) is connected to a hydraulic pump (4), which generates pressure and transmits this pressure to a hydraulic pressure accumulator (5) which, in turn, sends hydraulic fluid under pressure for a hydraulic motor (6) of constant speed, which moves a pulley (7), and said pulley (7), in turn, moves another pulley (8), installed directly on the alternator shaft (9) of the generator assembly (3).

  • Patent number: 11816363
Abstract: A computer implemented method manages virtual disks. A number of processor units detects attachment of a storage to a host operating system. The number of processor units mounts the storage to a set of mount points. The number of processor units creates a set of virtual disks and assigning, by the number of processor units, the set of virtual disks to a guest in operation in which instructions for the operation are performed without interruption. According to other illustrative embodiments, a computer system and a computer program product for managing virtual disks are provided.

  • Publication number: 20230312051
Abstract: An elliptical bike is described having a function that elliptical bikes of the related art do not have, since their rear pulleys, which support the platforms, are screwed into protrusions welded to the frame, which have holes. The bicycle also comprises a folding embodiment, and holes that are suitable for raising and lowering the angle of attack of the platforms and the positioning of the rear pulleys, which are fixed (e.g., screwed) into protrusions welded to the frame, thereby providing four positions of angle of attack, giving the option to work different muscles in the user’s legs.

  • Publication number: 20230296046
Abstract: An autonomous modular device for an electric generating plant is described which may be in the form of a container that makes use of a vehicular engine adjacent to the canopy of a modular structure. A drycooler heat exchanger, with a layout different from the other existing layouts, implying improvements in the use of this type of autonomous generator system, is provided insofar as it provides easy transport, adequate consumption without mechanical loss and high energy efficiency. In one embodiment the vehicular engine is placed under the canopy of the modular structure, wherein a drycooler heat exchanger is accommodated, and not an engine radiator, with a different arrangement from the other existing units. A second embodiment is adapted to places where there is no physical space for the model including the heat exchanger under the canopy, forcing the installation on the ceiling of the installation, or for other installations.

  • Patent number: 11637831
Abstract: An application programming interface (API) platform accesses cloud-based software services in a cloud computing system. API requests used in the API platform include a tenant specific endpoint (TSE) that uses a unique tenant identifier and an API endpoint as a URL domain. The unique tenant identifier identifies a tenant associated with the API request and the API endpoint identifies one of the cloud-based software services. The combination of the unique tenant identifier and the API endpoint in the domain of the TSE maps to an IP address for a specific software service in a specific one of the data centers in the cloud computing system assigned to the tenant. This allows API requests to be routed directly to the tenant specific data centers without first being routed through a central routing service.

  • Publication number: 20210310840
Abstract: Described herein are thermal mass flow sensors that combine calorimetric and anemometric (e.g., hot-wire) elements to provide a hybrid approach to determining flow rate of a liquid. The flow probes or flow sensors are configured to use a heater to apply heat to a thermally-conducting material in contact with the flowing liquid, to measure a temperature of the thermally-conducting material upstream of the heater and downstream or at the heater, to adjust power to the heater to achieve a targeted temperature difference, and to determine a flow rate based at least in part on the power supplied to the heater and the measured temperatures. This approach provides flow rate due at least in part to the fluid cooling the thermally-conductive material proportionate to flow rate with non-linear effects. This hybrid approach can provide accurate readings of flow rates of liquids delivered through an IV line to a patient.
