  • Patent number: 11936765
Abstract: Some embodiments include an apparatus, method, and computer program product for high precision device synchronization of electronic devices in a shared medium. Some embodiments include a first electronic device that utilizes a combination of synchronization techniques to synchronize with a second electronic device. The first electronic device receives a first signal from the second electronic device that includes network-based synchronization data and marker data, and performs network-based synchronization with the second electronic device at a first synchronization accuracy. The first electronic device receives a second signal, and uses the marker data and phase lock synchronization to detect a frequency change of the second signal received, as well as to determine a corresponding time marker. The first electronic device updates a clock of the first electronic device based at least on the corresponding time marker, the network-based synchronization data, and the marker data.

  • Patent number: 10413713
Abstract: A medical tubing housing device is provided including a housing having a front housing portion, a rear housing portion and a spool of medical tubing rotatably mounted within the housing. A retraction mechanism, including a drive plate and a spiral torsion spring, is mounted within the housing between the spool and the rear housing portion and the drive plate is in engagement with the spool. An inlet is provided on the rear housing portion for receipt of an external fluid source and is in fluid communication with the supply tubing through a collar of the housing and a connecting portion rotatably attached to the collar. The spiral torsion spring is movable between an unstressed condition and a stressed condition when the spool is rotated as the medical tubing is pulled out of the housing. The medical tubing housing device may also include a wall mount to mount the housing to a stable surface.

  • Patent number: 8567366
Abstract: An intake manifold assembly for an internal combustion engine that has a modular construction and includes a base member, a runner, and a shell, wherein the base member removably attaches to the engine, and the runner and the shell each separately and independently removably attach to the base member. In another aspect, the assembly further includes a fastener for attaching the runner to the base member, wherein the shell is formed so as to retain the fastener between the shell and the base member when the shell is attached to the base member. In another aspect, the assembly further includes a bumper affixed to a surface of the base member, wherein the bumper abuts a surface of the internal combustion engine. In another aspect, the base member includes a sealing ridge that mates with a sealing groove provided on the shell.

  • Publication number: 20110120408
Abstract: Variations of a device for collecting viscous fluid from a fluid containing device. Variations include features that protrude into an interior portion and/or from an exterior portion of the device and maximize the surface area of the device exposed to the collected fluid, to enhance cooling and for other purposes. Other variations include both interior and exterior fins or other features as well as convex, concave or bowed side walls. Further, various aspects of the device may be divided into sections arranged to increase the overall surface area of the device exposed to the collected fluid, to enhance cooling and for other purposes. Methods for using the device are also disclosed, including a method that uses the features to cool the collected viscous fluid.
