The inventive USB device comprises a printed circuit board having a microprocessor and memory, a USB controller connected to the microprocessor, a USB connector connected to the printed circuit board, and wireless receiving means connected to the printer circuit board for receiving external data to be stored in the memory. The data stored in the memory include, but are not limited to, unique identifiers from external devices. The inventive USB device may further comprise means for transmitting data from the device to external devices. The inventive USB has a power source to provide power for it to work for an extended period of time. The above inventive USB device may further provide means for a user to initiate the device to transmit the ID to other receiving devices within the proximity.
