  • Publication number: 20240183259
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to processes for adding a chemical composition to a produced water mixture upstream of a pad related to a well to be fracked. The added chemical composition comprises a drag reducing agent, or a biocide, or a scale inhibitor, or any combination thereof. The produced water mixture comprising the added chemical composition may then be transferred in a pipeline to the well to be fracked. This offers a number of advantages that may include, for example, reducing the footprint at the pad, improved efficacy of biocide, reduced time to transfer produced water, and/or reduced pumping time during the fracking.

  • Publication number: 20240131477
Abstract: Hydroxide-exchange membranes (HEMs) and hydroxide-exchange ionomers (HEIs) are provided which include polymers with oxidation resistant groups. The attachment of the oxidation resistant groups to the polymer backbone allows fine-tuning of the mechanical properties of the membrane and incorporation of alkaline stable cations, such as imidazoliums, phosphoniums and ammoniums, and provides enhanced stability to the polymer. HEMs/HEIs formed from these polymers exhibit superior chemical stability, anion conductivity, decreased water uptake, good solubility in selected solvents, and improved mechanical properties in an ambient dry state as compared to conventional HEM/HEIs. The HEMs exhibit enhanced stability in a highly oxidative environment.

  • Patent number: 11950358
Abstract: A semiconductor device system comprises an integrated circuit (IC) die. The IC die is configured to operate in a first operating mode during a first period, and a second operating mode during a second period. The first period is associated with enabling an element of the IC die and a first amount of voltage droop. The second period occurs after the first period and is associated with a second amount of voltage droop. The second amount of voltage droop is less than the first amount of voltage droop.

  • Publication number: 20210022688
Abstract: A method for generating a diagnosis via a digital health application includes receiving, by a digital health application, a request for a diagnosis. A digital health application selects a plurality of questions based on the initial complaint, an order of presenting each of the plurality of questions, the order associated with the plurality of questions. The digital health application displays, to a user of the digital health application, in the associated order, each of the plurality of questions. The digital health application receives user input responsive to the questions. The digital health application determines a diagnosis and modifies a user interface to display an identification of the determined diagnosis. The digital health application requests an indication of whether the user of the digital health application accepts the diagnosis. The digital health application requests an indication of whether to establish a consultation with a medical professional to discuss the diagnosis.
