Abstract: A dental oral appliance to open the airway for a sleeping individual who suffers with snoring or obstructive sleep apnea comprising, a body, structure configured to removably affix the appliance to the upper or lower teeth, structure to prevent occlusion of the upper and lower teeth, a transpalatal member that extends from the lingual of the right molars to the lingual of the left molars, a posterior tongue restrainer attached to the transpalatal member, and one or more tubes extending from the anterior of the appliance to the posterior of the appliance for the delivery of oxygen into the oropharyngeal airway.
