  • Publication number: 20240095259
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for storing a first data object comprising a first set of immutable components, the first data object being associated with a corresponding second data object stored by a remote replication system. A difference is determined between the first set of immutable components of the first data object and a second set of immutable components of the corresponding second data object. A subset of immutable components is identified from the first set of immutable components based on the difference. The subset of immutable components from the first set of immutable components is provided to the remote replication system over a communication network.

  • Patent number: 9699129
Abstract: A system and method for increasing email productivity based on an analysis of the content of received email messages. The system includes a content analysis engine that analyzes the content of a received email message using natural language processing techniques. A prioritization module produces a priority score and a priority level for the message using a prioritization knowledge base. A message sorting module produces a set of suggested folders for the message using a sorting knowledge base. A junkmail module produces a junkman score for the message using a junkmail knowledge base. The prioritization knowledge base, the sorting knowledge base, and the junkmail knowledge base are updated with feedback from the user for each received email message, which allows the system to learn in real-time the user's preferences.

  • Publication number: 20070225836
Abstract: A method for predicting emissions from an emissions source. Test values of process variables relating to operation of the emissions source are gathered, along with corresponding time-correlated test values of the emissions variable to be predicted. Using the test values of the process variables, test values of a plurality of first coefficients are calculated for each process variable and associated with the process variable, and test values of a plurality of second coefficients are calculated for each value of each process variable and associated with the value of the process variable. Comparison values of the process variables relating to operation of the emissions source are gathered, along with corresponding time-correlated comparison values of the emissions variable to be predicted.

  • Patent number: 7192836
Abstract: A method and system for providing a halo implant to a semiconductor device is disclosed. The method and system includes providing a thin photoresist layer that covers a substantial amount of an active area including a source region and a drain region of the semiconductor device. The method and system further includes providing the halo implant to the semiconductor device, using the thin photoresist layer as a mask. Utilizing this thin photoresist layer, taking into account other height variables, the source and drain regions can be opened only as needed. At a 45° angle, the implant can be delivered to all transistors in the circuit in the targeted area as well as getting only a large amount of the dose (up to ¾ of the dose) to the transistor edge which sits on the trench edge.

  • Publication number: 20060230423
Abstract: An apparatus for calibrating test equipment at a CATV service organization or customer site includes a calibration unit for calibrating a signal level measurement circuit that is operable to generate signal level measurements for a set of broadband RF signals and an access monitor for enabling operation of the calibration unit in response to a token indicative of calibration credits being coupled to the access monitor. The access monitor may also include a port for receiving a token containing calibration credit data. The port may be a USB port, a smart card reader, or a keypad, for example. A memory fob received in the USB port may be interrogated for calibration credit data that are used to enable a calibration procedure and a smart card may be received in the smart card reader for similar purposes. The keypad may be used to enter a password and account data associated with the password may be read and evaluated to determine whether a requested calibration procedure may be performed.
