Abstract: Systems and methods to determine brake pad wear are provided. A linear enclosure may include an opening and a cap proximate the opening. The cap includes a cap surface. A slide bolt may be configured to move in a first direction within the linear enclosure. A shaft may be in axial alignment with the slide bolt. A biasing mechanism may bias the shaft in the first direction towards the slide bolt. Sensor circuitry may generate a first signal indicative of brake pad wear in response to movement of the shaft.
