  • Patent number: 11230428
Abstract: A nested dunnage arrangement is provided for compactly storing or transporting parts, each having a concave surface defining a cavity and a convex surface opposite the concave surface, and includes a panel defining an opening, and means for positioning a first part on one face of the panel with the concave surface of the first part facing the opening. The opening is sized to receive therein from an opposite face of the panel a convex surface of a second part such that the convex surface of the second part extends through the opening and at least partially into the cavity of first part. A periphery of the opening is configured to engage the convex surface of the second part received therein to nest the second part within the first part while also preventing the convex surface of the second part from contacting the concave surface of the first part.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 6, 2019
Date of Patent: January 25, 2022
    Assignee: Bradford Company

  • Patent number: 10077123
Abstract: A container for holding product therein during shipment and being returned for reuse has a base and opposed sides. The container has multiple levels of dunnage components, the dunnage components of at least one level being movable between open and closed positions to enable an operator to load and unload products more easily. The dunnage components of at least one level may have openings through which pass guides supported at least partially by the container.

  • Publication number: 20170283166
Abstract: A container for holding product therein during shipment and being returned for reuse has a base and opposed sides, linear and non-linear tracks, and a plurality of dunnage supports extending between the tracks. At least one of the tracks on each side may be non-linear in the shape of a “C” or “U” or “J”. One type of dunnage support comprises end members and a tubular middle member, the end members being movable along the tracks. The dunnage supports support dunnage, such as pouches.
