Abstract: The solution described herein provides a system for issuing and redeeming digital coupons. This includes receiving a request for a digital coupon from a user device including a unique hardware identifier (ID). Then sending a first localization request and receiving, a first location of the user device. In response, generating a software object representing the digital coupon and including a security token, sending the software object to the user device, updating a status of the digital coupon as issued in a database, storing the unique hardware ID in the database, and associating the unique hardware ID with the digital coupon. Receiving a request to redeem the digital coupon from the user device. In response, sending a second localization request, receiving a second location of the user device, providing a redemption code, and updating the status of the digital coupon as redeemed.

A system comprises a merchant database comprising merchant information and organized into merchant accounts by a plurality of unique merchant identifying codes. A social seller database comprises social seller information and is organized into social seller accounts by a plurality of unique social seller identifying codes. A promotional offer database comprises promotional offer information and is organized into promotional offer records by a plurality of unique promotional offer identifying codes.

Abstract: A method for information and promotional offer generation and distribution comprises creating a user profile. A merchant profile is created and an offer profile is created. A request is received from a user for a promotional offer. A promotional offer coupon is created with a unique tracking code based on the received request from the user, the user profile, and the offer profile. The promotional offer coupon is sent to the user based on the user profile. The offer profile is updated to reflect the sent promotional offer coupon.
