  • Publication number: 20250360010
Abstract: A method of extracting an implant from a vessel includes inserting an extraction device into the vessel. The extraction device includes a hollow body having a cylindrical portion and a bellowed portion. An inner diameter of the bellowed portion increases toward an end of the hollow body. The method also includes sliding the extraction device over an outer surface of the implant such that the hollow body slides between a vessel wall and the implant to move the implant from a deployed position to a non-deployed position within the hollow body. The method can also include removing the extraction device and the implant from the vessel.

  • Patent number: 12396871
Abstract: A device for extracting an endovascular stent graft from a vessel including a cylindrical body and an opening formed in the cylindrical body. The cylindrical body has a first open end, a second open end, and a sidewall surrounding a hollow bore of the cylindrical body. The opening is formed in the sidewall between the first open end and the second open end forming a first ring portion at the first open end and a second ring portion at the second open end. Additionally, a diameter of the first open end is greater than a diameter of the second open end.

  • Publication number: 20250032283
Abstract: A device for extracting an endovascular implant from a vessel includes a cylindrical body, a trough, and a handle. The cylindrical body includes a distal opening, an opposing opening opposite the distal opening, and a side wall surrounding a hollow bore of the cylindrical body. The trough extends from the cylindrical body proximate the opposing opening and includes a first side wall and a second side wall. The handle extends from the trough. A thickness of the sidewall at the distal opening tapers toward the opposing opening such that the hollow bore proximate the distal opening is narrower than the hollow bore proximate the opposing opening.
