An example method can include generating, by a first computing device, a cryptographic key; outputting, by the first computing device, a pattern that encodes the cryptographic key, the pattern including a visual pattern, an audio pattern, and/or a light pattern; receiving, by the first computing device from a second computing device, a signed message including a command to modify an operation of the first computing device; determining, by the first computing device, whether the signed message is signed with the cryptographic key encoded in the pattern; and based on a determination that the signed message is signed with the cryptographic key encoded in the pattern, modifying the operation of the first computing device according to the command in the signed message.

    Abstract: Systems and techniques are described for token device transfer management. A system identifies, in a payload of at least one block of a distributed ledger, a token corresponding to media content. A parameter of the token in the distributed ledger indicates that the token is associated with a first user. The system identifies a device that is associated with the token and the media content. The device is also associated with the first user. The system identifies that the device has been relocated to an area associated with a second user. In response to identifying that the device has been relocated to the area, the system causes the parameter of the token in the distributed ledger to be modified from indicating that the token is associated with the first user to indicating that the token is associated with the second user.

The system generates a representation of the media content corresponding to the token. In response to identifying the relationship between the media device and the anchor element, the system outputs the representation of the media content.

    Abstract: A device controls a lighting condition of smart objects. A networking framework is executed on the device and the smart objects. An RF signal is broadcast from the device to the smart objects. The signal requests the objects to transmit an ultrasound signal. Ultrasound signals from the objects are received in the device via microphones. A range and direction to each object may be determined based on reception times of the ultrasound signals. A map of the location of the objects is generated. The objects are controlled, via the networking framework, based on the map. A user interface overlay that shows the current lighting condition and location of objects using icons is presented on the device display. The icons are interactive controls for the objects, which may be interacted with for control of the corresponding object. The objects may be manually or automatically controlled to achieve a lighting condition.
