One or more protective elements and/or cushioning elements can be permanently or removably attached to a wearable shell, to provide an increased level of protection for a wearer. The size, shape, and composition of the one or more protective elements and/or cushioning elements can be varied to alter the level and location of protection provided by the head protection device. One or more accessories also can be included in the head protection device, such as light sources and reflectors to enhance the visibility of the head protection device and to provide illumination.

Abstract: Biasing of search results based on device profile and activity data. In various embodiments, biasing operations are performed on search results generated in response to a search query received from a client device. The biasing operations are based on device profile data associated with the client device. Such data may indicate media consumption capabilities of the device or other device hardware and software configuration details. In some embodiments, device activity/sensor data may likewise be employed to bias search results. Biasing operations may include, for example, ranking, prioritizing, or filtering search results to favor results that may be consumed by a client device. Translated and/or targeted and supplemental information may also be provided based on device profile data or user profile data. In certain embodiments, searching and biasing operations may be performed by an intermediary or proxy device.

Location aware appointment management applications can track the real-time location of the appointment participants, calculate the estimated time of arrival of the appointment participants based on a variety of factors including, for example, the participants' distance from the appointment location, speed of travel to the appointment location, real-time traffic conditions of the appointment participants route of travel to the appointment location, real-time weather conditions, profile information on the participants travel habits, the participants' mode of transportation, public transportation schedules and on time data, etc.
