  • Publication number: 20260046986
Abstract: A radio frequency (RF) dielectric heating system includes a solid-state RF power generator, a matching network electrically coupled to the RF power generator, and a dielectric heating applicator electrically coupled to the matching network and including electrodes for applying RF power to a dielectric material. A solid-state RF power generator can include a power supply, an RF power amplifier stage electrically coupled to the power supply, and a control system electrically coupled to and configured to control the RF power amplifier stage. The control system can be configured to regulate an output voltage of the RF power generator to provide a constant RF power generator output current to maintain a constant voltage across the applicator electrodes. Examples of RF power generators and methods for RF dielectric heating are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11728777
Abstract: Disclosed is an RF (Radio Frequency) power source having a power supply configured to convert an AC (Alternating Current) voltage at a power supply input to a second voltage at a power supply output, and an RF generator configured to receive the second voltage at an RF generator input and to use the second voltage to produce an output RF signal at an RF generator output. According to an embodiment of the disclosure, the power supply performs the voltage conversion without galvanic isolation between the power supply input and the power supply output, which can increase energy efficiency while reducing complexity and cost as well. Instead, the RF generator is provided with galvanic isolation between the RF generator input and the RF generator output, which can be sufficient for achieving galvanic isolation between the power supply input and the RF generator output for safety reasons.

  • Patent number: 11700161
Abstract: A system for peak-to-average-power ratio (PAPR) reduction of a frequency shifted plurality of digital broadcast signals taking into account the combined signal peaks in order to transmit the signals more efficiently in a single broadcast transmission system. The PAPR algorithm takes into account a rotating constellation phase offset for the shifted signals corresponding to the amount of applied frequency shift. In the case of a dual sideband In-Band-On-Channel (IBOC) signal typically used in conjunction with an FM carrier in the center, the sidebands can be interleaved to create a new IBOC signal definition and take the place of the FM carrier for an all-digital transmission that is backward compatible with IBOC receivers allowing for a gradual migration to all digital broadcasting.

  • Patent number: 11668205
Abstract: A containment system for an engine includes an engine case having an inner perimeter. The containment system includes a containment ring nested within the inner perimeter of the engine case and integrally formed with the engine case along a first interface and a second interface. The containment ring includes a first leg opposite a second leg, and the first interface is defined between the first leg and the engine case. The containment system includes a first plurality of perforations defined at the first interface, and the first leg of the containment ring is frangible along the first plurality of perforations to at least partially release the containment ring to protect the engine case during a containment event.

  • Patent number: 11543403
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure include a titration probe that mitigate the occurrences of titration probe clots. A bar such as segment of music wire, is extended across the tip of a titration probe and attached at both ends to the titration probe. The bar is configured to catch clots and prevent the clots from being collected along with a blood sample to be analyzed. The bar effectively reduces the cross sectional area of the titration probe tip.
