The policy may be comprised of policy code provided by a user during the software development. A user selection of current version or a previous version of the selected policy may be selected. The policy code may be compared to the code provided by the user. Based on the comparison, an outcome may be determined. The outcome may be comprised of a plurality of respective outcomes corresponding to each of the plurality of policy requirements. Each of the plurality of respective outcomes may be indicative of whether each corresponding policy requirement is satisfied, not satisfied, not required, or unavailable. The outcome of the application may be provided. The outcome may restrict or permit the change to the code.
